埃亞爾酒店(Hotel Eyjar)

Impossible d aller aux îles Westmann en cas de fort vent car les ferry ne fonctionnent plus ou mal. Dans ce cas, ne compter pas sur cet hotel pour vous rembourser, au moins en partie votre réservation. Ils savent que les gens ne sont que de passage.

The location is fantastic, but my praises stop there. I'm not sure if this is a COVID-only procedure or

Pros: Large family room is well sized and decent. Located right in dead center of town. Was allowed and early check-in Neutral: Pretty basic, likely has looked the same for the last 20yrs. Cons: No reception No breakfast (at this time) Room was clean, but not deep clean (crumbs about, etc)

No frills property, no lobby, no normal check-in, no amenities whatsoever; yet for the area, it is a reasonable stay.

I know the reviews are mixed on this place. But we like the location so we gave it a try. We were very happy. We had a room on the top floor for our family of 4. The beds were fine, the room was clean. Staff is very hard to find now in Iceland so I understood when we found out that in fact there was no breakfast included. There was coffee! Our 9 and 11-year-old had fun feeling free and grown-up. They were able to walk around town "alone" while my husband and I enjoyed the time to ourselves. We could walk to the tours and also drove around the island to hike as a family. We could walk to the nice restaurants and 66 North. We loved Gott and the bakery! We took a small RIF boat tour thru seacliff and a small bus tour thru eyjatours. I highly recommend both. So from a cost and location, I would say this place is great! YOu can spend more and get a nicer place. Or you can adventure all day long and spend the extra money on doing fun things! Like seeing the beluga whales... BTW, entry is included to this thru the Eyjatour.

Great location, pretty nice room. No reception, but good service from the person who came when we called. There was a bit of noise during the night, some odd sounds like a drill at 5am keeping us up.

The room was not ready for us when we checkt in. Hade to wait one houre for the room . They forgot to clean it

The location is ideal, couldn’t be better. And our room ended up being simple yet lovely. They had however promised us online a room with a kitchen, sofa & view & when we got there - they at first showed us one with none of these, and blocked windows. Not ok. A very nice woman we found did move us to smaller nice room, with view.

Description say free parking, yes on a parkinglot two street away, not their own parking. Clean and comfortable room. Location is great to restaurants.
