All good clean nice brekfest

Wow absolutely loved. Its a small lodge in a quiet location approx 4km from town, you can walk or get a cab about 10$. We stayed in room 3 directly opposite the pool it was huge,clean and well kept. The staff were amazing so considerate polite and could not do enough for us ,Elton ,David,Ellen,Sheilh to name a few. My favourite was David he was such a nice guy, l cannot praise him enough. Hope you well!!!! Only downside for me was breakfast, it was included but was only teas, coffee, OJ, and cereal. Anything else was chargeable, I personally think that a little fruit/ toast /yogurt would have gone down a lot better and not broke the bank. On the whole great experience and defo recommend

We stayed here due to the really positive reviews and competitive pricing. In reality, from a westerner’s perspective, we felt the option was clean and safe. The staff were welcoming and helpful. However, the rooms were basic - the lack of profile photos featuring them (instead notice the high proportion of photos featuring the attractive outside space) was clearly for a reason. The property requires a taxi ride into and back from the central area ($5-10 per journey), which makes the option more expensive for anyone without their own transport.

Es handelt sich um ein Budget Hotel , welches minimalen Service anbietet.Ausserdem ist die Zimmer Einrichtung veraltet und in sehr schlechtem Zustand und bedarf dringend einer Renovierung. Verpflegung ist absolut Basis und täglich das gleiche. Eine Taxifahrt zu Stadtmitte wird mit 5 USD berechnet und ist auf Grund der Entfernung unverzichtbar. Hotel sollte man nur buchen bei Budget Zwängen.

Fantastic value for money. A friendly welcome. Room was adequate but bathroom small. We were not there for luxury but wanted a base and somewhere friendly and clean. Livingstone lodge certainly was that. Great laundry facilities Breakfast was good cooked fresh to order. Highly recommend the on site massage and beauty salon. Luggage storage available

Lovely place to stay. Friendly staff who can’t do enough for you! Clean and basic facilities. Lovely breakfast. Lodge sorted out all the trips we required and travel To and from airport - only downside was the driver asked how much tip we had left him!!!

Livingstone Lodge was fantastic! I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room. The room was so beautiful, the grounds and gardens are lovely, the breakfast was great and the staff were so kind and helpful. I recommend the Livingstone Lodge very highly. I will stay here again if I come back to Victoria Falls.

First of all I admire Elton's personality so friendly and hospitable!! The service was excellent too including clean rooms ,good breakfast, communication with the drivers everything 100% enjoyable. Thank you Marina and David Belenky.

We recently stayed at Livingstone Lodge the night of April 22 - it was a last-minute booking and we were charged $110 USD. It was a shock, as the hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. We had originally booked two nights - April 23-25, which we promptly cancelled when we saw the hotel. We were charged a penalty of one night for cancelling. We were shocked when we arrived - considering the hotel charged over $180 CAD per night for the original booking. For an additional $80 per night, we moved to Shearwater Explorers Village - there is NO comparison. That is a REAL hotel! I believe this hotel is grossly misrepresented - the photos are enhanced and I find it hard to believe the reviews. Our room was like a prison cell, with no furnishing. There is no curtain around the shower, so we stood in water to use the sink. Breakfast was pathetic - beans, egg and bacon (I am vegetarian) and no fruit whatsoever. Coffee was self serve instant using a kettle with a too short cord. Even the so-called reception is pathetic - a tiny office with a folding chair and table - I've seen better at construction sites! I believe what we were charged is robbery and am trying to get a refund of the penalty charged when we cancelled. What is interesting is I now see rooms advertised for about $50 - approximately one third of the robbery price we were charged. The one star allocated is for the staff.. They are lovely - I feel sorry they have to deal with clients booking such a sub-standard property. If the owners are not prepared to invest some money in this place, at least represent it more truthfully and charge a lower price!

Amazing staff and service. Wonderful views. Immaculate grounds and ambience. Really felt pampered although it is a fairly large hotel. Very romantic and well appointed. The location was like something out of a movie or novel. The dining experience was excellent and everything was fresh and well prepared. The drinks were especially interesting and well thought out.

Lovely, clean and welcoming lodge. Beautiful poolside breakfast/tea and coffee area. Staff were very helpful with suggestions for visiting attractions and organised these and transport/guides quickly. We also had an issue with a double payment which was due to no fault of the lodge. However, they went out if their way to get it sorted out for us. Highly recommend Livingstone Lodge when visiting Victoria Falls.

Comfortable, accessible, family friendly and offers some of the BEST massages we've had. The massage therapists were outstanding! They used an upmarket tent for fabulous treatments - all it needs is air-conditioning and we are certain that as their upgrading of the entire lodge continues this will be done. The rooms were tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were easy to use and had plentiful hot water. The WiFi was good enough to allow for remote work as well as kids entertainment. Staff at all levels are professional, committed and helpful. It doesn't pretend to be a 5 star hotel but as an upmarket lodge for a large and remote working family, it is a place we would choose to return to. We would definitely return.

Nice clean rooms, beds were comfortable, full English breakfast each morning was real nice. All of the staff were excellent and would help with any needs you may have. They took the stress out of arranging taxis and transportation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

This is an old but well maintained facility within the National Park. Animals are sighted in the area from as early as 8.30 pm. I stayed here for a week on a business visit. The lodge is quite small and thus gives guests quite a home feel as there are no crowds or queues. I got delayed for a night due to flight connection delays in Johannesburg and when I emailed them asking to cancel the first night , they readily did. On arrival, the check-in was quite smooth and staff were so welcoming. The deluxe room I was booked in was quite spacious with a super big bed. Mattress was quite comfortable too. The cleaning was good enough and bathroom was equally spacious. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. One evening, I was taking a walk out of the lodge to a nearby restaurant for dinner and the gateman took time to guide me on when to come back - explaining the exact time elephants and buffalos were sighted in the area the last five days. Only downside was breakfast which was basic and same items for all the days and the swimming pool which is too small for any meaningful swim. All in all, this is a place to return.
