Location was great, however, the unit is in need of a major clean/update. Stained carpet throughout, ants made cooking near impossible, ants in the dishwasher, fridge is rusting on the exterior, interior paint is needed as hand marks all over the high touch areas and overall cleanliness of unit was subpar because of this. I expect some bugs in Maui but this was over the top. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this unit.

Donna Bender of MauiCalls has booked our family into Wailea Elua Village 4 times since 2017. Wailea Elua Village is a phenomenal place to stay. It is quiet and relaxing, but close to a laundry list of fun activities. The waterfront location provides for easy beach access as well as a walking path to explore.

This was our 4th visit to Elua Villag. Unit 1302 is we!l located with beautiful ocean views and proximity to the Wailea boardwalk. It is well appointed, nicely decorated and in excellent condition. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. In addition to a nice beach, there is a great pool area. Will definitely be back.

This could be a great experience, except if you book through Hyatt you have zero guarantee of any of your rental details. We are Hyatt Globalists (top tier), we clarified via multiple advance phone calls that we have a 5 month old and need a ground floor room so we don’t have to carry the stroller up and down stairs, a bathtub in one of the bathrooms because our wiggly baby can’t do showers, and a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom - we were told the requests were in got none of it. Not one item was accommodated and the guy that checked me in gave me a condescending speech about how he washed his grandkids in a sterilized sink (btw these sinks aren’t big enough, but I digress), and that they could refer me to where I can buy baby supplies like a tub. There are also no beach/pool towels, there are towels smaller than the bath towels and none at the pool should you need them, so we went and bought some. You also only get the room serviced once, and you have to have it vacant for 3+ hours for them to do it. I do see that on VRBO you can request specific units so you know what is in the room you rent, so we may try that way since Hyatt is a complete gamble because the location is excellent, it’s just the Hyatt experience that’s lacking, but if you know what condo you have and to expect no “hotel” amenities on top so that your expectations are set, it would be a better experience.

Highly recommend this property. Celebrated our 30th anniversary here. Very convenient location with beautiful grounds. The accommodations were comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. Easy beach access and walkable to other areas. It was a home away from home. Would stay again & recommend to those that would like an affordable but yet beautiful home like accommodations.

5th Time staying here. Love the staff, property and the unit stayed in. The biggest complaint is they need a staff member at the pool area constantly. Many guests especially with children did not follow rules, brought large inflatables, boogie boards, etc into pool limiting people from even just staying in one place in the water or being kicked as children played. Children and some adults were loud and unruly. They should have just gone to the beach for water and more room.

We loved the unit and property, but we were up by the road and up close to the property next door, which was loud with construction and equipment noise first thing every morning. Did not get a good night's sleep the entire week.

My family recently stayed at the Wailea Elua village. This location is a hidden gem that everyone should consider. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The grounds and lodging are both top notch. Amenities for local shops and groceries are available as options to the larger established big box stores. The local walking/running beach paths are scenic and relaxing. I would encourage everyone to rent a bike and just explore.
