懷普灣度假村(Waipu Cove Resort)

Complexe hôtelier très bien situé, Les chambres sont très propres et calmes ; la piscine est agréable. La responsable de l'hôtel est très sympathique et disponible pour tout sujet. Nous avons séjourné à plusieurs reprises lors de notre dernier voyage : Ce n'était pas prévu mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet établissement ce qui nous a amené à y revenir. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel, un des meilleurs rapport/qualité prix lors de notre séjour.

Laura and the team were awesome. It helped that the weather gods were inside. Clean, friendly and very accommodating of our change in plans. The location is great, stroll to a lively and very long beach, with no noise and enough options if things to do to cover more than a few days.

We went with our motorhome, nice site, less than a minute walk to beach. Lovely facilities, hot showers and plenty of time to have a shower and wash hair. Very relaxing, we stayed for 7 nights and have rebooked for next year. Ladies in Office very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to next year on a different site.

We stayed for 3 nights across 3 x 1brm units for the family. Great location, close to beach, cafe, local diary (all walking distance). Reception were very accommodating to make our stay easy. The rooms were well supplied, clean and everything worked well. Loved that they changed out our towels on a daily basis. Felt it was very good value for money. Thank you Waipu Cove Resort

We loved staying here. The staff were really professional, friendly and welcoming. The heated swimming pool was loved by my children and it is just a stones throw to the beach with it's own private accessway. The Cove Restaurant is just across the road as is a local dairy. We stayed over New Years and it was really peaceful and quiet. No rowdy guests. We enjoyed meeting other families and our children made several friends. Unit was a decent size and even with a two year old in tow felt very safe with pool being well and truely fenced off. We hope to come back again.

Friends had booked a special weekend at Waipu Cove. They spent 1 hour on the road trying to get there but had to turn back … in their wisdom and a show of sheer greed, have chosen no refunds and no credit. We understand how tough it has been for hospitality in Northland but this feels very unfair and shortsighted! I would encourage others to post the same!

What's not to like, the location is great with a general store / takeaway at the end of the drive and a café just about 100 metres down the road. The 1 bedroom (cosy) unit we stayed in had a nice little outdoor patio / garden to sit in although we were next to the road which, being holiday season, was rather busy.
