建築師酒店(The Architect)

1. My unit window faced a blank wall. My request to change was turned down. This was not made know to us when we booked the hotel. This is totally unacceptable as I paid same hotel rate like the rest. 2. The air con not working properly. It went on and off the whole night. Disturbed my sleep throughout the night. 3. Only one elevator was working. The waiting time is far too long. 4. No drinking water provided. Conclusion: I will not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

Our safe was out of order. Someone came up to our room but wasn’t able to set it. We put a do not disturb sign on the door during our entire stay and wasn’t able to get our room cleaned for the 3 night stay. The bed was uneven and very uncomfortable. We won’t be staying here again.

There was one staff that worked at night which made my stay better. I requested to speak to a manager but I was told I had to email them because they do not come to the property. My email was never answered and I asked for refund that was never addresses.

The entrance needs a permanant ramp. There are stairs down which are difficult for a person with luggage and mobility issues. The staff reluctantly help when asked. There is a collapsable ramp for wheelchairs but they refuse to set it up; I got stuck in the elevator several times--when informed the staff said--Yes--it is old; The rooms have no drawers-so if you are staying several nights you have to put your clothes on windowsills. On the up side--outlests and USB portals are plentiful and lighting is sufficient and convenient.

The place had few amenities, but my room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom fixtures were odd. The shower (no bath) had (I counted) a complicated fixture with 12 places streaming out water and a confusing number of knobs. It took awhile to figure out out how to turn on shower and change temperature, but it worked and was pleasant after overcoming the learning curve. The faucet on the sink would shoot water all over the counter if turned on at highest stream. The toilet was fussy and didn't have sufficient force to flush without holding down valve (and even then it seemed likely to clog). I didn't realize that coffee was available in lobby until my last day of stay. The room was quiet. I didn't try the TV, but there was one. I would stay there again.

The price and location were good. The room itself was a bit small, but it had a very large accessible bathroom with a deluxe shower that had many sprays. It is comfortable for a solo traveler or a couple for a short stay but it lacks amenities like a coffeemaker and a fridge. My room had no view but a good AC unit that kept it cool.

The window unit did not cool the room. The card keys deactivated constantly. The whole facility was overwhelmed with the smell of "air freshener." Had to dodge rats around the property if moving around after dark. Area has gone downhill since McPherson Square has become a tent city. A quaint boutique better described as an old dive.

Hôtel vétuste par plus d un aspect Nous l avons ressenti comme insalubre (pas de vraies possibilités d aération et une horrible odeur de produits chimiques qui provient des pratiques des employés consistant à utiliser des aérosoles pour neutraliser les mauvaises odeurs) L accueil et les parties communes sont lugubres : il faut descendre des escaliers avant d arriver ds la salle de réception très peu engageante. On parle avec difficulté des moquettes ds les étages ou de l ascenseur (mention spéciale à ceux qui ont le cout de lever la tête!) Chambre correcte mais mal insonorisée
