We visited Chetola on a snowy evening in January and felt that we were truly transported to another place. Beautiful facility with warm, accommodating staff and service. We’ll be back!

The lodge and property are beautiful. The Staff was friendly. We were disappointed in the quality of the food at the Timberlake restaurant.

Rooms are clean and beds are actually comfortable. All the staff we encountered were polite. The restaurant there is pricy but convenient and the waitresses were pretty good also. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful place to stay if you’re there to enjoy the area for Christmas. We were so close to Tweetsie and the property itself is beautifully decorated inside and out for the holiday. Our room was clean and cozy. The staff at the Lodge and in the restaurant were so friendly. We hope to visit again!

Everything was lovely and well designed. The staff were very friendly.
The hot tub jets did not put out enough power but it was a nice, large hot tub and the environment was quite pleasing.

The room was clean, but the showers have a “safety feature” that stops them from getting hot. It was cold in the mountains and we wanted warm showers. They sent a repairman but he said he couldn’t override the safety lock that stopped the shower handle from going more than 3/4 of the way toward hot. Big bummer to be shivering in and after our showers. Also would have appreciated a coffee station in the lobby so we could get some fresh coffee whenever, instead of that terrible in-room kind.
