We had difficulty with the wifi service and had to spend over 30 minutes on the phone with their tech support to resolve the issue. Room heat was not working properly and required service. The staff were all super nice and helpful. Room was clean and functional - On the first floor but a very long walk from the lobby. View was pretty from the room.

If you need to stay in the Newton/Wellesley area, this property is your best bet. However, the breakfast buffet was quite disappointing. All of the hot food was cold - eggs, potatoes, meats. The eggs were completely tasteless. My check-in was a bit off. I'm a gold member, and I wasn't offered a bottle of water. My room was quite nice, but it was about the farthest walk from the lobby (and was next to some physical plant equipment that created white noise all night). I'll stay here again. It's actually a nice property in a nice setting in the right place. I just would like a bit more effort on the little things.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the river. Very clean and comfortable. The only disappoin**ent is that there are a lot of unexpected fees: $16/day parking, 10$ day internet, $6 coffee instead of complimentary. Not used to that at Marriot, especially when the rooms are already on the pricey side.

Very nice hotel. We stayed here because it was a more affordable option to hotels in Boston. Very clean and comfortable. We had a lovrly view from our room. The restaurant at the hotel is pricey but food and service are excellent. The area surrounding the hotel makes you feel comfortable if you want to go outside for a smoke. Only downside is there are events here on the weekends, so there can be a lot of people in the area but the hotel staff manages it well.

This hotel is overpriced for comfort and interior design is way outdated in lobby, rooms, etc., -- it all needs to be upgraded. The only benefit is location, if you want to be close to Boston and near a freeway. But warning: you have to pay extra for EVERYTHING - parking, wifi, breakfast buffet (not worth it), printing a document in the business centre, Starbucks in lobby costs more than the cafe down the street. Doors are heavy and you can hear everyone coming and going, including any of the maids cleaning in morning, etc. NOT WORTH IT and will not stay here again.

They hadn’t assigned us a room. I booked with them through ******* 3 weeks ago. I booked a room 1 long size bed with balcony. I was told no room was available with those options. We were also told we would now need to pay $16.00 to park at the hotel for our stay. That was not mentioned on the website. After quite a bit of discussion a supervisor came and found a room just like we ordered. We are not happy with the experience having been to that hotel several times before. We won’t be going again. We will be looking at other sites in the future.
