湖畔汽車旅館(The Lakeside Motel)

J’ai été au restaurant du motel Lakeside seulement pour un lunch. L’endroit est incroyable grâce à la terrasse pleine vue sur le superbe lac Ontario. Tout est bien pensé pour capter l’oeil et passer du bon temps: Feu de camp, couvertures disponibles si on a froid, balançoire pour photos Instagram etc. J’ai débuté avec un cocktail maison “Minimalist” aux pétales de rose et gin…Exquis, surtout avec la vue sur l’eau bleu, le soleil et la brise sur la terrasse. J’ai commandé un burger et j’ai été agréablement surprise par le bon goût et la duxelle de champignon et huile de truffe. J’ai échangé les frites par la salade maison tres bonne, et ce, sans frais ce qui est rare de nos jours… Je dois avouer qu’il y a eu un peu d’attente pour recevoir notre plat principal, mais nous étions le lundi du “Labor Day” donc tres occupé. l’ambiance, la qualité de la nourriture et des breuvages et j’ajouterais le sourire du personnel, nous a fait oublié ce délai. Donc je recommande fortement de vous arrêter à cet endroit pour le lunch. À noter que le stationnement est limité mais en insistant j’ai pu me stationner au motel.

Nous y sommes allés seulement pour le restaurant et non pour le motel. Nous avons adoré l'endroit avec vue sur l'eau . C'est de toute beauté. Tout est bien pensé, des feux sur le deck à la balançoire pour enfant accrochée à l'arbre. Le bar / cuisine centrale est magnifique. On se serait cru dans le sud l'espace d'un souper. La nourriture aussi était à notre goût. Des petites assiettes mais une cuisine raffinée pleine de saveurs. À ne pas manquer.

We arrived just before the busy season opened and their staff were in training. Everyone was absolutely wonderful! Megan was fantastic. She was courteous and professional but most importantly she was fun! The king room ( of which there are 2) was well appointed and very comfortable. We are looking forward to booking next years stay before we check out today!

This was a perfect mini vacation from start to finish. We arrived the week before the official opening and the staff was in training. Everyone was so nice. The room was perfect, very comfortable and welcoming. The hospitality given my Megan was second to none. She provided us with many options of things to do during the day and places to eat. She was very knowledgeable and helped make it stay exceptional. The amenities and the grounds were 10/10. We will definitely be back.

The personnel were warm, professional and welcoming. However, the room was not comfortable. Bed and pillows, no proper chairs to sit on. No coffee machine in room, 500$ taken ahead of time plus the total amount for the stay. Owner wants money $$$$ Too expensive for a motel!

Tried out the “hot spring break” experience and will definitely be returning! This spot is a gem The view overlooking the lake is spectacular. There are stairs that take you right down into the lake if you feel like taking a natural cold plunge. Fire pits and 3 hot tubs right by the water. The heated pool is divine. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helped make my stay as enjoyable as possible (note: they don’t stay on site overnight but they do have an after hours emergency contact number if needed). The room was cute and clean. The bed was comfy and having the fireplace in the room added that extra bit to the ambiance. It’s also pet friendly!

Such an amazing place for a winter getaway. Sauna was always ready whenever we needed it. Always warm and waiting for us. The cold plunge was a check off the bucket list and such a rewarding feeling. Rooms are so modern, clean and laid out with the cutest little finishing decor touches. My friends are already dying to come here after seeing how great it has been for us. Prime location, stunning property, beautiful view, great eats walking distance away. Workers here topped our entire experience off. So welcoming, great service and always willing to help make our time in pec one to remember. Beauty buggy was a great add on to treat ourselves. Already want to come back.

We drove from 5 hours away specifically to check out this place for lunch. Upon arrival parking is difficult. We went to the restaurant and were totally excited about the view, the atmosphere and the overall vibe. We ordered drinks and were impressed with them, they were delicious and pretty. We ordered lunch and what a huge disappointment. In fact, they should be disgraced with themselves. We ordered 2 ceasar salads. They were served on a little plastic TV tray. It was simply finally cut up romaine lettuce, mayonnaise and no name stale croutons for $19.00. We didn't even eat it all as it was so unpalatable. The burger was prepared medium rare and half was left on the plate facing pink side up; when the waiter took it and he didn't even mention it. The pizza was pathetic, there was no prosciutto on it and it had the cheapest blue cheese on it that was repulsive. When we advised our waiter of the disappointing experience, he told us to give them another chance next weekend. LOL This little resort has some incredible potential but will not stand a chance if they don't put some love into what they do.

Brian the manager was incredible, we stayed for 1 one night on a beautiful February day - he was looked after us by serving drinks and starting bon fires by the water. The Place was clean and well maintained. Great location! was quiet but it was off season so I'd assume in the summer months that place would be hopping as its set up for a very social scene.
