The place was very clean. Beds were not very comfortable could feel the inner coil springs when you sat/laid down on them.

Room was reserved as non smoking and it stunk of smoke!! Bedspread stunk abd was in horrible condition. Old and dirty. Tv was very old. Room not very clean at all.

I had a relaxing, fun time. Hotel was clean, and quiet. Room was large, and clean. We went to the Grotto 4 times, walked uptown many times and shopped at local stores. West Bend is a jewel of a town. It has been Iowa Nice!!!

The suite was so fine. Bed was perfect for my bad back. Cleanliness was perfect. Every thing within walking distance. Perfect view of Grotto! Pool perfect temperature. Quiet and serene Bernie was so welcoming fun and helpful. Love this place. You will love staying here.

Less than ońe block away the Grotto of the redemption

At first glance it seemed reasonable. But it progressively became worse. I have a severe allergy to dogs, and the individual working had a lab walking around freely indoors. The room was not much better. Think ,”grandma’s house”, but grandma has dementia and also let your homeless uncle live there for years and never cleaned after him. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, toenail clippings and food on the floor, along with men’s hair all over the toilet, shower, and also in the bed (as if a man had gotten a haircut and then decided to take a nap under the sheets). Continuing to take the bed apart, the sheets and blankets had holes in them. After showering and trying to feel clean, the towels were very thin and had obvious holes in them as well. The walls also had clumped up pieces of dust, and clearly had not been cleaned in months. The sink mirror was not clean either, appearing as if someone had sneezed all over it. I wiped off the dresser, and found that it was covered in dirt and more men’s hair. Spare yourself. Drive another 20 or 30 minutes to find somewhere decent, or just camp in a tent.

Proximity to Grotto of the Redemption was a huge bonus. Good continental breakfast. Attentive manager.

Would have been better with a earlier breakfast, we left early. I know having no control of the varmints outside, but the flying bugs were terrible.

Quiet, good bed, convenient for our needs, I would prefer a little more protein for brkfast.
