Esthetically this hotel is amazing. It’s pretty and clean. The staff was nice. The location was perfect for us.
We visited Yule Tide village and the Clifton mill lights, all within 30 mins of hotel.
Stayed 2 nights.
It is right outside the mall with a lot of shopping and food choices.
The downfall for us was the amenities. The things that you shouldn’t have to deal with when spending over $150 a night at a hotel.
1. The bedding was horrible. It made noise like paper. It was thin and terrible. It’s loud enough to keep people up when you move and not soft at all.
2. The “king” bed was nowhere near an actual king size.
3. The bathroom doors slide shut which in theory is nice except ours squeaked extremely loud. It was impossible to have night privacy without waking the other.
4. Our microwave door wouldn’t shut right and kept causing issues.
5. The tv placement in the room was laughable.
6. The breakfast fair was close to what you’d expect at a hotel for the morning except the hot choices were severely lacking. Soggy sausage, waffles you make yourself, scrambled eggs, and some kind of quiche option. Very basic. The toaster for the 3 types of bagels they offered didn’t work right.
The showers don’t including a tub which we were fine with. They were nice.
The towels were soft.
The night stands with alarms were a nice touch.
There was a fridge in our room.
They offer in room coffee from a kurieg as well as some downstairs.
Would not recommend.
