One of the Irish bar staff members was very rude and obnoxious towards the people at the venue. Not a place that I’d take my family out to. I was told to shut up after asking her to lower her tone. She was very disrespectful towards myself and my guests . Although these issues the food was still good. Compliment to the kitchen staff

Great stay! King suite very comfortable. Beautiful meal! Thanks chef. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Cosy bar, our ideal country pub!!! Loved it! Highly recommended. Terrific range of beers on tap too!

It was my own fault, booked online and didn't check the drop down box. Arrived for booking but not the room for two, only single room booked. Checked my email and it only confirms booking - no details of room. But wamhat was annoying was the staff who just had no sympathy or empathy ... looked straight through me. And their suggestions of other accommodation was all booked out at 2.30pm. I take full responsibility for the mix up but walked away with the view of no hospitality supporting West Wyalong tourism.

Just had one night in West Wyalong so we decided to have dinner at the Royal Hotel. Ordered Chicken Parmigiana which looked good but when started eating it was very tough as it was overcooked. Staff were pleasant service was good. Nice dining room

We were on a road trip and caught up with some friends for lunch here. We all had the beer battered flathead and chips and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The friendly staff gave us excellent service and we loved the decor, including all the old photos and the interesting bar. Highly recommend for a lunch stop!

A group of friends visiting West Wyalong had a fantastic meal at the Royal Hotel! Highly recommended and don’t miss a visit when I’m town!!! The lamb, fish and steaks were all excellent and great value! The service from Liam, Paris and Kryan was excellent and we all enjoyed the service which was to a high standard!!

The Royal Hotel is beautiful old pub that looks like it's currently undergoing a progressive renovation. Our room was a King Bedroom which was located at the rear of the building and thus very quiet due to the absence of traffic noise. The room was very spacious, and looks like it was formed through the combination of 2 smaller rooms. The bathroom looked brand new and was of a very contemporary style. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. There were some minor details that indicated that more work would be necessary to complete the renovation, but these were incidental to the experience. Unfortunately, we stayed over the Easter weekend, and as a result both the bar and restaurant were closed. Both of these looked very stylish and the restaurant has a good reputation. Once all the renovations are complete, the Royal Hotel will be a really stylish place to stay in this part of NSW.

We stayed as a family group in a king room, queen room and a single room, for one night in January. The king room and queen room were really nice. They had everything you could want and were clean and comfortable. We liked the decor, the air conditioning, the nice bathrooms and the convenient little touches like the pod coffee machine, toaster and small fridge that helped make our trip easy and enjoyable. The single room had a shared bathroom, and was small and basic but clean. We had dinner downstairs in the restaurant with a group of about 20. All the meals were great. The hotel was in a great central location on the main street. Across the road to the rear was the grocery store, and there were at least 3 parks/ playgrounds that we found within 5 mins walk. We enjoyed our stay… thank you.

Stopped here for lunch. Had a steak sandwhich and i have to say it was the best one ive ever had! Home made bread toasted to perfection, just the right amount of crunch. Very tasty sandwich and one you could pick uo to eat and not get covered in sauces and juice. Chips were good too. Id go back just for the steak sanga. Good service and friendly staff
