We arrived late, but had spoken to the hotel by phone. Arrived at 9.00 pm, No one on reception. Sign told us to dial 0. Did so - twice; no-one answered. Eventually found someone, who then took a long time to find someone else to check us in.
Rooms OK, but roof windows - we appeared to be in the attic! No window opened in our room and it was a hot night! Had to buy water for the room ar bar prices.
CHose hotel as it had views over the Bristol Channel. Booked breakfast for 8.30. Despite having tables by the window the staff refused to let us sit at one - but laid up a table for 3 elsewhere. At least one window table was not used by the time the buffet breakfast had finished. Some people had also been allowed to have breakfast in the lounge by a window.
Very unimpressed with the service although the food was good. WILL NOT USE THE HOTEL AGAIN.
