Fabulous hotel, location and views

We arrived late, but had spoken to the hotel by phone. Arrived at 9.00 pm, No one on reception. Sign told us to dial 0. Did so - twice; no-one answered. Eventually found someone, who then took a long time to find someone else to check us in. Rooms OK, but roof windows - we appeared to be in the attic! No window opened in our room and it was a hot night! Had to buy water for the room ar bar prices. CHose hotel as it had views over the Bristol Channel. Booked breakfast for 8.30. Despite having tables by the window the staff refused to let us sit at one - but laid up a table for 3 elsewhere. At least one window table was not used by the time the buffet breakfast had finished. Some people had also been allowed to have breakfast in the lounge by a window. Very unimpressed with the service although the food was good. WILL NOT USE THE HOTEL AGAIN.

Tolle Umgebung tolles altes Haus, die Zimmer könnten jedoch ein Update gebrauchen. Super Lage am See/Meerenge. Im Sommee bestimmt noch besser zum chillen.

Very dated, cobwebs in the rooms, worn furniture, poor ventilation… the list could go on! Worst nights sleep in a hotel. Only redeeming factor is the view of the sea!

Dated decor & tired appearance. Room small & bed was not a double, either a small double or 3/4 bed. We were advised when we arrived that food would only be available from 5-6pm as they would then be catering for a Chris**as party. The music at the party went on until midnight. Breakfast very disorganised the one member of staff just kept saying it had been a busy morning. Food was good though. Position good & town centre easily walkable. Very quiet position. Good parking.

Third time we have stayed here but will not return. The heating in the room was barely on, which was needed as the temperature outside was only 5 degrees. We were told it was on a timer but the radiator didn’t get any warmer during our stay. No radiator in bathroom, and water pressure on shower was very low. Staff weren't overly pleasant either.

Bathroom had partial frosting to windows which meant people in houses across the road could see into bathroom. Constant droning noise could be heard all through the day and night. No internet access whatsoever.

Noisy buzzing all night poor sleep Small pokey room needs uplifting. Evening dinner in a soulless room due to wedding and poor. Breakfast was ok. I could not wait to leave.

Dated hotel in need of refurbishment. Not great food in the bar but breakfast was fine with good service. Bit of a trek to town Restaurant shuts early at 8 15 Very noisy floorboards in corridor and in room entrance
