河岸別墅酒店(Riverbank House Hotel)

Food was very tasty and staff were amazing but sadly that’s where the the good ended. Our room was musty and out dated the bathroom was tiny tiles on wall in shower where grubby and toilet was coming off the floor. Carpets were filthy. Room was horrendous for the price we paid. I would not stay here again but would go back to eat. The staff are a credit to this establishment.

With a family of 4 with 2 teenage children looking for a place to stay over night we had been to just about every B&B and hotel in Wexford. We came across the receptionist at this hotel whose name was Dawn who went above and beyond her job description. Although the hotel had no vacancies she was on two phones trying to track down a place for us to stay. Much appreciated and true Irish hospitality, you should be commended on your great customer service which today seems to be lacking in most services industries. From our family a big thank you Dawn you are a talking point of our European trip from Australia. We talk about you to all we come across I hope your employer values your contribution.

Great couple of days . Staff were friendly and helpful - Food was great - room very confortable but could do with brightening up - one fault, as it was so warm we left our window open at night which made it noisy. Very enjoyable stay and would certainly return again - Thanks

We stayed in the hotel on a Saturday night and we booked at short notice so therefore we paid more than you would expect for a double room in this hotel at €150. The hotel room was quite dated, the window latches didn't close properly and there was no plug in the sink so my husband could not shave. However the restaurant food and service were both very good. It is also in a convenient location to walk across the bridge into the town so I think we would book this hotel again for that reason but it would need to be at a more reasonable price.

On arrival the girl at reception was not very friendly she did not welcome us, she did not say please or thank you. Given the cost of the room for the night I would expect the receptionist to be a lot more friendly.

Room was comfortable and pleasant. On the Monday morning at about 9am, someone started drilling the party wall with the next room with a hammer drill but to be fair it didn't go on for too long. On Sunday evening we ate in the restaurant then stayed there for a few drinks as the bar wasn't open. Good vegetarian dishes on the menu; food was good. Restaurant was busy - obviously popular. On the Monday evening we got back around 9.30pm and the restaurant and bar were both closed. Had already eaten but would have had a couple of drinks. Odd for the facilities to close that early.

After my coach from Rosslare dropped me off in Redmond Square it took me around 10 minutes to cross the river and reach the hotel. So the location is very convenient. I found the hotel's staff very friendly and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable. I had a lovely meal in the dining area of the hotel and would have happily returned the following night but decided to try one of the recommended city centre restaurants. The only minor issues I had was that it would have been nice to have had more continental breakfast options, plus the WiFi connection in my room was not always reliable. Other than that I had a great stay.

Excellent hotel great food friendly staff very comfortable bed what more could you ask for the view is fabulous

Liked the room ,comfy bed.room v warm but the heat could b turned down.lovely big tv screen, breakfast lovely.
