Great staff (especially Joey & Megan), lots of seating for breakfast, very quiet even though it's right beside the highway. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Lots of restaurants that are easy to get to nearby. Only complaint is the sink in the bathroom - very high and quite a distance from the edge of the counter to the sink. Will be back to this one as it's a 1/2 way point for us visiting. We had a bad experience from another hotel in this chain, and I was ready to give up on it, but thanks to this place, we will continue to stay with the chain.

We have stayed in this hotel several times. this time was to attend a funeral, Our first room was a little noisy being next to the elevator, asked to be moved. The staff was so very sympathetic and acted promptly to relocate us to the quietest room possible. the hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is polite friendly and acts promptly to any requests. This remains our go-to hotel when in the Whitby Oshawa area. Great and convenient location,

I wrote a good review on expedia when i got home because i thought my experience was good. Then a couple days later i notice the $250 charge on my credit card. I called and the same person who I reported the broken picture to said well we inspect every room and we would have noticed if it was broken before you checked in. I left a message with the manager and have yet to hear back. I only told them about it because there was loose glass and I thought it could be dangerous. I thought i was doing them a favor! When we first checked in, it was 10pm at night. We had travelled all day. When we noticed the broken picture, we said we'd report it when we checked out. Never thought they would pull this. Never again will I stay at a Homewood Suite!
