Bedroom was good value, although the bed itself was very hard and only just a double! Evening meal was good, although not cheap, the chef is trying to hard but garlic chilli prawns on a bed of toast wasn’t exactly what I was looking at £10 a portion. The Sunday lunch was excellent. Our biggest negative was no breakfast availability until Midday, for a Pub with rooms that does seem ridiculous, as the kitchen will need to prep for Lunch at midday coming in an hour earlier to charge £12 for full English breakfast shouldn’t be difficult! Both a missed opportunity and two disappointed customers!

This is an absolute gem, food was special bfast ‘continental’ was exceptional. Lovely wee room bit noisy but did not bother me. Staff were great , bed was comfortable, bathroom could do with a bit of upgrade but good shower. Outside area lovely for a wee seat and a glass of something !

Sunday lunch - the best roast I’ve had in a long time. Beautifully prepared, decent portion and really pleasant surroundings. Keen to return and try their dinner menu. Puddings looked appetising. Plenty of car parking which is handy as the village can be busy.

We have just been for Valentines night and the food was really exceptional. Honestly It was soooo good and so beautifully presented. You need to try the food here as it is a little gem. Thankyou so much we had a wonderful Valentines evening. I can’t recommend enough

Just enjoyed a great meal at The Coachman.. Decided on spec to pop out for a bite to eat. Phoned and managed to get a table early evening. Great pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord before going to the table. Warm bread & Garlic bread as Nibbles - the Pumpernickel bread supplied by The Bread Factory in Manchester was sublime. The Coachman Burger and the Steak Pie were great as we're the Treacle Tart & Panacotta. The young staff were superb, attentive and professional making the whole experience really great, lovely to see the pub busy with a great buzz. Well done all, great food, great staff, great beer and wine & great value.

stayed Saturday 9th December from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome Petra checked us in and showed us to our room, it was lovely clean and warm we had a meal there and it was fantastic Harvey nice jacket and tie !! lol made us feel welcome as well and the owners were nice as well shame about the weather and the Chris**as Market had to pack up early but managed to buy a couple of things we will visit again Steve and Michele from Bedfordshire

A large group of us went for dinner this evening. As it was the Chris**as menu we wondered what it was going to like. We needn’t have been concerned. The team was well organised, the food was excellent and served on hot plates ( a rarity these days) the staff were efficient and friendly and even the chef ( who did a great job) came in to check everything was ok. It was very busy with Chris**as revellers and I take my hat off to all of them for the level of service . I couldn’t fault it and look forward to returning soon Thank you all.

The food we had this evening 15/11/2023 was superb. Definitely a cut above your usual pub food. Lovey friendly service. Presentation was stunning. All food came out at the same time for all 7 of us in the group. And hot. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Went out for Sunday dinner, with family including a 4 yr old, the place had great a**osphere, the food was amazing and the service we received from Will and Charlotte was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.
