Wir hatten die Junior-Suite gebucht. Das Self Check-in ist sehr praktisch. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Es hat eine Küche (mit Teller, jedoch ohne Töpfe und Besteck) mit langem Bar-Tisch und Stühle, einen Wasserkocher und eine Kaffeemaschine inkl. Kapseln. Die Minibar war kostenlos. (Wasser, Süssgetränke und Bier). Das Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer/Küche sind getrennt und jeweils mit einem kleinen Flach-TV ausgestattet. Das W-LAN ist kostenlos. Das Badzimmer mit einer Regendusche ist klein. Reicht aber gut für eine Person. Das Frühstückbuffet bietet genügend Auswahl. Preis/Leistung ist Top!

Was not a fan of the unattended check-in. There are no employees available at the check-in lobby and it is all done on a self-serve kiosk that eventually dispenses your room keys. The room was great, and the breakfast even better! Wide variety of choices to eat, and the self-serve espresso machine was appreciated.

This is quite decent hotel in a quiet yet secluded area of a small town. The food, ambiance and service in the adjacent restaurant were great. The fully digital check in worked very well. However, in case of any complications, there is no WiFi connection available in the lobby. For anyone using a non European smartphone via WiFi (to avoid expensive Swiss data roaming), there is no way to get in touch with a local support if any urgent issues arise with the check in. Our more concerning experience is around safety/security (or lack of). During our dinner at the hotel restaurant, we were bullied by two (possibly intoxicated) men who scared us and brought our children to tears. We felt unprotected in this zero staff hotel. The restaurant was practically empty, the only other person there was the waitress. What is one to do in the case of danger? Not a family oriented/friendly place.

Automatic checkin worked fine. Room average but ok+. Industrial area but a very nice wine bar 100 m from the hotel. Breakfast ok but a lot of flies on the meat and cheese (not covered).

Selfcheck-in ist gewöhnungsbedürftig für ältere Semester. Totenstille in den Gängen, etwas seelenlos. Saubere, recht grosse Zimmer, mit grossen Fenstern. Betten einigermassen bequem. Bad mittel, nur mit Dusche, recht gut. Genügend Frottéewäsche, danke! Sehr ruhige Lage, grosser Gratisparkplatz mit Platanen, die im Sommer Schatten spenden werden. Zum Glück gibt es vis à vis das Hotelrestaurant welches wir sehr empfehlen können!

We have been in hotel Paul's for so many occasion, the place for correct with correct prices. Since the new management has arrived, they are trying to upgrade the hotel to get more money out of clients however the structure is not there yet. We had no soap in our room, no fridge in the room and breakfast quality was much lower than before,no personal in the morning so the service is slow. Bad news for us, it's time to find another hotel where we can stay for overnight during our travel from Switzerland to Italy.

Bed uncomfortable, pillows lumpy, quilt is like a sheet, air con has a mind of its own, no fridge in the room, no tea making facilities, breakfast poor, not even a toaster in the breakfast area, this hotel is always available it is never fully booked, there is a reason for it, all the other hotels in the area are better, I have stayed here many many times, when it was Pauls it was a lot better, every visit since it has been B_smart has got worse, the final visit with no toaster at breakfast ended my relationship with the hotel! The Forum Hotel it is!
