野地沙丘別墅酒店(Dune Villa Wilderness)

Wir waren das zweite Mal in der Dune Villa zu Gast. Es war wie schon bei unserem ersten Besuch, ein wunderbares Guesthouse mit einem tollen Zimmer, großartigem Frühstück und einem sehr guten Service. James, der Inhaber, hat sich um alle Gäste gekümmert und war bei Fragen, z.B. zu Reservierungen für Restaurants, immer ansprechbar. Wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Besonders zu erwähnen ist das liebevoll angerichtete Frühstück . Bei James und seinen Mitarbeitern fühlt man sich vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl! Die Lage direkt am Ozean ist ein Traum. Vielen Dank James für deine guten Tipps.

I can’t recommend Dune Villa highly enough! Set on the beachfront, you have endless views of spectacular unspoiled Wilderness beaches. The Villa has two levels. The ground floor is a lounge and dining room with a coffee bar, drinks and snacks available for guests 24/7. There is also an honesty bar with wine, spirits and soft drinks so you can choose from their selection. The ground floor opens onto a beautiful garden with decking and a plunge pool. There are stairs at the end of the garden taking you onto the beach. Upstairs there are the 5 rooms. We stayed in room number five which is a very big and luxurious suite with sea views all round. (All rooms have a sea view). The bed is large and comfortable there is a large lovely bath and shower. Everything is clean and beautiful. The hosts are incredibly friendly. They have provided so many little extras for guests, I haven’t experienced this level of hospitality and attention to detail anywhere else. For example there are scented candles for you to use while you bath. Sunblock ( lots of different brands) and pool towels are provided, as well as binoculars for dolphin and whale spotting; the beautiful coffee bar downstairs is amply stocked; there is a snack fridge in the room that’s complimentary, where you’ll find wine, chocolates, water, beers; there are lovely gowns and slippers provided in each room. You feel really pampered! Needless to say we have already booked our next stay!

Excellent accommodation with the most amazing views. Breakfast was great - will definitely be back. The host extremely friendly and helpful.

This hotel is located in a residential area, which gives it more a B&B then a hotel idea. We were the only guests and therefore a bit surprised about the breakfast spread, which was very big. The room had a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean and it was nice that you could sit outside on a private balcony. The room itself was spacious, but the lay out was a bit odd, with a glass shower potruding into the room: not very nice when you want to shower in privacy (:-)). There were comfortable beds, but a stand for suitcases was missing while there was enough space for them and part of the room was badly lit. In the room were plenty of snacks, so you could nibble away while relaxing. When we wanted to know if we could leave the balcony doors open during the night, it was difficult to get in touch with the owner. That was a bit annoying.

We stayed at Dune Villa for 2 nights during our round trip in SA. We chose this place as we wanted to stay right at the beach! “Right at the beach” in Wilderness is always “above” on the hill where all private residencies are with a lovely view along the whole beach. We enjoyed our stay there very much, we had a great time despite we hit 2 very windy days! James, the owner, is a friendly person that helps out with any issue. The suite was very spacious and clean. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is to offer breakfast a bit earlier than 8:30/9 as it might crash someone’s day trip plans.

Stayed for 2 nights with balcony view. Spectacular view. The sound of the sea was almost too much. Our room had everything we needed. A generous fridge with complimentary wine etc. The breakfast was a generous buffet and the host even had snacks and biscuits etc left out to help yourself. You could walk down the wooden staircase onto the cast beach and walk into the village. Thanks for a great couple of evenings.

Wilderness is a beach paradise, and Dune Villa is one of the best bed and breakfast hotels we have stayed in on our visits there. James made a special point of welcoming us in a down to earth and practical way. Our room overlooked the beach, and was very well equipped with lots of wardrobe space. A bit of a descent ( 102 steps) to the sand but an easy gradient so no problem. Staff all very attentive and friendly. Pool could be a bit bigger, but there's always the sea to swim in! Excellent breakfast, can't think of anything to complain about. James does a great job.

Lovely property. Great host. Perfect location on the beach. Lovely touch of cakes, fruit, drinks and snacks being available all day and in the room. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Have already recommended to friends who are staying there in two weeks.
