Our initial room was terrible: ceiling was falling down, elevator has been broken for over two years, so only had the one small elevator, the none of the phones worked in the room, no clock in the room, calcium build up around sink in the living room, sofa was stained and looked dirty, cold water was warm, hot water took a long time to get hot, etc.

We have been coming to the Williamsburg Embassy suites for many years. We were very disappointed with the condition of the rooms, the room amenities and the low quality reception staff. We did not feel safe with the reception and management staff. The cleaning maids did not provide hand soap or update the tea and coffee in the rooms. The furniture in the room has not been polished or maintained. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff was great, the only issue we had was there was mold above the beds, pretty big spots. They had no other rooms and every hotel around was sold out so we had to tough it out sadly. But the staff handled it well.

Hotel was very clean and staff quite pleasant. Overall space in rooms and breakfast area is much smaller than any other Embassy Suites that I have ever stayed so that was unexpected and a bit disappointing.

This property is old and dirty. It is NOT what I have come to expect from Embassy Suites. The wallpaper in the halls and rooms was dated and had stains—everywhere! Everything looked old and tired. One of the elevators was broken which made for long waits. Only one working wash machine in guest laundry. Rooms were very small. The only good thing was the breakfast staff—excellent service, and the evening reception staff was good too.

I liked the size of my room and the "Manager's Reception" in the evening and the breakfasts had a lot of tasty options. However, the carpet was wet at the base of the thermostat, there was no internet, and the TV didn't offer service of basic network television, and didn't have a streaming option. The elevator was incredibly slow. The lack of internet was especially inconvenient and when I mentioned that I didn't have internet at the front desk the response was, yes - we are aware of this and we don't have internet here (at the front desk) either. This was the case for the entirety of my stay - 3 days. I will not stay here again.

We had a one night stay at the embassy to enjoy the park in the area. Well the hotel itself was nice and the staff seemed to be nice upon check in. We got to our room and there’s where the problems began. The pull out couch was full of chip crumbs that had been left and not cleaned from a previous stay. The linens were stained and not able to be replaced. Mildew or mold was growing from one part of the ceiling. Called the front desk and they basically said it would be ok because they haven’t had any other complaints. The hotel was maxed out and we couldn’t be moved to a different room. I really expected more from this hotel.

Everything was nice except for the smell. We walked into our room and it smelled musty and like someone had pets.

Check in app didn't link with reservation. 1 of 2 elevators were broke and the one running was slow. Internet was bad and very spotty. Furniture was older and uncomfortable. Televisions were outdated.

Staff was rude and building was unkempt and not as advertised. Not worth the money when there are better hotels close.

Room had a soiled smell and only one elevator was working. Wouldn’t recommend

Hotel is super clean! Always enjoy the snacks and drinks in the evening. The breakfast is always a hit. Great way to start and end a day.

Nice and clean! Delicious breakfast! 4 stars because at front desk was only one person and waiting time! Elevator it's very 🐌 slow and need to be updated!
