I would probably give the hotel a 5 star. Two minor complaints. First, the 3 people checking us in complained about some people were arriving too early - before the check-in time. Travelers can’t always know their travel time of arrival. I made reservations months ago. I got there at two and they made me wait until after 4. We were also text on our phone about needing to again confirm that we’re still coming. How rude! You had our deposit to keep if we didn’t show. You even did it for our restaurant reservations. Also, turn-down service means very little to us - but please don’t insult our intelligence by leaving a note saying”Out of respect for your health and safety we have temporarily suspended the service.” A maid comes in the room once can certainly come in a second time. The worst thing was your nice restaurant was closed both nights we were there. The other one I’d have to give a C rating on value, quality, and service. They were actually stacking dirty dishes behind where my wife was sitting. It was so mediocre that we cancelled dinner reservations the second night. Why 5 stars on the hotel - the wonderful room and the fresh flowers.
