賽普拉斯瀑布旅館(The Lodge at Cypress Falls)

This place should not be open… cold water in showers, a/c bad we were hot, beds full not queen, dirty rooms, bad beds, floors that are falling apart… 3 nights around $450.00 not worth $50.00 a night. We left a day early with no money back of course. The pool was old but very nice and cold. The swimming hole they taught was low due to no rain, understandable. But not fit to stay.

We are regular guests at The Lodge at Cypress Falls and always enjoy our stay! This visit was for my daughter’s 30th birthday. The lodge offers a swimming pool, river access, a salon, bistro, and a tavern! It is a rustic lodge. We give it 5 stars for fun, as it has a family feel, easy access to the pool, clean rooms, accommodating, etc. It is not 5 stars like the Waldorf Astoria. Your Wi-Fi may be spotty. This an unplug resort hill country fun!! They stored my 4 charcuterie platters and a cake in the fridge for me! Super nice staff!

We had a lovely, relaxed time! Such a friendly, lovely staff, and a refreshing swimming pool! We enjoyed our relaxed stay, and going back to a simpler time. Room was clean and staff was wonderful! Other guests were friendly and considerate. We stayed in the cool water pool in these record-heat days. Highly recommend!

I hate to give a negative review because the people here seem lovely and the location is convenient. Yet, when there is no hot water, I feel people need to be warned. I had read this in a review but I thought maybe just an unfortunate incident but no, it is true. I had to take a cold sponge bath last night and when I asked the desk clerk this morning, she said the pipes were old and you need to run the water about 10 minutes to get it warm. I am running it as I write this review and it is still cold. After spending the afternoon in Cypress Creek, which I highly recommend, I need a hot shower. I am very disappointed. I have stayed in many different type of hotels and never have I stayed in one without hot water. Also, there isn’t any breakfast as some reviews stated. Also, there is not a complimentary champagne bottle but I am thankful for the complimentary can. Please, management, it is time to get new pipes(and a hot water heater), and give your customers what they assume they will have, hot water. Btw…after about 10-15 minutes, the water was hot.

The room was clean and comfortable. The lodge had hot coffee in the morning to start the day with and the bar was great to have cold beverages in. Wimberly is a very nice and welcoming place to enjoy for food and browsing. We had a hard time leaving the Wimberly cafe. the food and people were so accommodating. Chills also did not disappoint with the food and service either. The lodge is a great place for a wedding or event where you can hang out and enjoy the company of your group or the hospitality of the staff and local people. The swimming pool and swimming hole are very short steps or walk away. The wedding we attended here was amazing the ceremony was looking over the swimming hole with the food and dancing a few steps away at the lodge. The event could not have been better from the food and music along with the service. Outstanding place for events and just hanging out our family enjoyed the time here.

My daughter's wedding was a tremendous success! The staff and coordinators went above and beyond. We had a blast!!! Thank you to the entire family and staff for their hospitality and generosity. We will see you again soon.

To start off with Sherry Michelle Michelle and I think there's one more Sarah DD Pete and Orlando Katie dirk,ally are exceptional employees that go over and beyond the call of duty. Kudos to each and every one of your employees AKA Santa from Florida.

I have stayed at the Lodge at Cypress Falls for the last 3 years in a row and it is a fantastic experience every time! The lodge has great rooms, restaurant, tavern and so many amenities. Going to the creek to float and picnic is so fun and only a short walk from the lodge. I highly recommend a stay at the Lodge. It's only a few minutes from Wimberley Square and great shopping & dining.

The place itself has a vintage charm. We enjoyed the swimming hole and food. We stayed in the bungalow and here are our thoughts: pros: cos efficient, pet friendly, amenities and the bed and bed linens were extremely comfortable; cons: the bungalow itself is in need of a thorough clean and overall refreshment.... ceiling is cracking pretty bad in the bedroom, air vents are really bad, and everything besides the bed was worn down or dirty. Maybe try the hotel rooms but I wouldn't recommend the bungalow.
