樹林旅館(The Coppice - Including Off-Site Health Club)

We had Room 1 which has a 4-poster bed and a super bath tub. There are good views from windows on both sides. Very comfortable king size bed. Plenty of storage space plus two armchairs. A nice touch is a small decanter of sherry and two glasses. The property is close to the town centre and has plenty of parking. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast menu and all served freshly cooked. Good Wi-Fi. We won’t definitely go again.

Beautiful stay, very welcoming, informative booking in, given lots of advice on where to visit, places to eat, we have been to Windermere many times but visited places we didn’t know of following the advice given, room immaculate, breakfast yum 😋 thank you, we will be visiting again xxx

Pictures are deceptive as rooms are a lot smaller in person and not the best facilities for the price paid. Breakfast was ok, beds are unfortunately very u comfortable which was the biggest disappointment as after a long day of hiking and walks a nice rest was needed. Neil - The owner wasn’t very welcoming, gave the impression that he didn’t like me due to his tone of voice and body language which also left a sour taste for our stay. I would avoid this guesthouse and choose one of the many available with a better customer service & mattresses which are not uncomfortable that have springs poking your back!

Friendly, welcoming hosts with great local knowledge and useful recomendations of where to try for eats. Really nice room, comfortable bed, plenty of storage space for things... Great breakfast choice, parking on site or on street, easy to find.. Very clean! Great base for exploring... We had use of the private garden with table for two and sat out for drinks in the evening (weather permitting) when we weren't out exploring...

Very lovely place to stay very friendly staff, very clean and lovely rooms would highly recommended, staff very helpful and always available whenever u need help, wide rang of breakfast options and great location

Laat ik beginnen dat de eigenaars ontzettend vriendelijke mensen zijn, daar is niets mis mee. De kamers van het hotel zijn klein en de badkamer is werkelijk een inloopkast. Het is duidelijk dat er alles aan gedaan is zoveel mogelijk kamers in het huis te creëren. Ook ontbreekt het aan een algemene ruimte waar je in de avond nog even kan zitten en bijvoorbeeld een spelletje doen. Ik vond de badkamer ook verouderd en echt niet schoon. Niet de hoge prijs waard al is de buurt waarin je zit over het algemeen prijzig.

The property is gorgeous. Rooms were clean and tidy. The hosts took time to greet us and offer a list of things to see and places to eat. Breakfast was delicious every morning. I will be back next time I am in the area.

Beverley and Neil helped make our stay really special - they set the room up beautifully for us with champagne, chocolates, balloons etc arranged and set up for our arrival. Also gave good recommendations for places to eat (was essential to book beforehand during half term with restrictions just being lifted!) Nothing too much trouble - thank you!

The room was much smaller than anticipated and despite being double glazed you could hear every car go past. It did have a lovely bath tub, but it's the only accomodation I've ever been to that tells you what time you will have breakfast.
