I had booked & paid for my stay through *******. But, for some reason, the payment seemingly did not post in the hotel's computer. So, when I arrived, I was told that I would need to pay again at the desk- not only the advertised price on *******, but an extra, non- refundable $50.00 ( tax) pet fee NOT originally advertised on their ******* write-up. I was also asked to pay the $5/per night fee for the pet, but this I WAS expecting, as that fact was included in the hotel description. The night clerk suggested we call ******* to correct the matter of my payment which had posted on my credit card, and the ******* attendant on the line was both pleasantly & quickly able to solve that matter. I then paid the $55 separately and was finally able to be issued a room key. After three long days of driving across the country, this was not exactly a good start to the relaxing evening I had been looking forward to since booking these accommodations earlier in the day.
