It’s a nice hotel, quiet, clean and welcoming, breakfast is fine as usual.

Not very friendly at check in - just doesn’t speak. Found a couple of bugs in my room. Otherwise a good stay. Great amenities and location .

The place is inviting and beautiful, worth a visit. There was wonderful service and many complimentary items as well, such as breakfast, cheese and wine, and milk and cookies. Everything was very nice especially considering the age. What caught our attention most probably is that they have a cat, miss sally, who is just out and about, and is a sweet little surprise

This hotel is greatly overrated. The rooms are cold, we had to get a space heater to get some heat into the room. Then the fuse blow and the room was without power. After power was back on a water leak happened in the bathroom. Water came pouring out of the overhead light/fan. At night the space heater had a wind-howling sound that kept me awake. The window blinds did not have the rod to adjust blind angle so I had to climb up the window sill to reach the little know to close the blinds. The bugs and cobwebs between the two windows do not look good. All I can say, it is a highly overrated hotel.

The place has lots of atmosphere, being a converted old mill. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was not very warm. We complained and they pulled out a portable heater which never would have heated that space with windows that needed to be re-puttied and 15 foot ceilings. The faucet in the bath sink produced just a trickle of water which thay were unable to fix.

Get rid of the ultra white light bulbs in the room and use only soft white bulbs. You have very large rooms with little furniture in it and no place to put your suitcases. The bathroom is 9 x 10. With a 5' single sink vanity and a toilet and tub normally found in a mobile home. Put some more pictures in the rooms and a large mirror for dressing. The TV was very small. Put light over table.

The room I reserved was not like the ones shown on line. Mine is dull and drab! The only good thing about this room is the remodeled bathroom. The lighting is poor to not not show the carpet that is old and dirty with stains! I’m highly disappointed and will not be back. When I asked for a room as shown on the website I was told they had no other rooms that were clean! This was false advertising and I don’t appreciate it! I’m very uncomfortable here!

We stayed over night to drop our child off at college. It was nice and clean and comfortable for our one night stay.
