本特利酒店(Bentley Hotel)

So the trouble was with booking and hotel number during booking I chose 1 large bed for 2 people, but in fact it was 2 single beds

An absolute lovely, clean and cozy hotel in Motherwell. Great location, great rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Llegamos al hotel facil con buen aparcamiento delante del mismo hotel con vigilancia. Nos dieron la habitacion y era espaciosa. El cuarto de baño algo pequeño y un poco incomodo pero bien. La cama matrimonio comoda, pero las vistas que nos tocaron algo pesimas. Tenian servicio de lavanderia por 5£ la bolsa de ropa, lavadora y secadora y muy bien. Tubimos problemas con el wifi. Se caia y estaba mal aunque nos cambiaron el adaptador de la habitacion fallaba. El desayuno era desayuno ingles, bastante bien. Es un buen hotel para visitar Stirling y alrededores y Glasgow

Hotel un po' vecchiotto. Economico, ideale per chi non ha molte pretese. Personale gentile e disponibile ma poco presente. Colazione discreta ma non abbondante, non è una colazione a buffet. A pochi passi dalla stazione di Motherwell (basta fare un giro a U). Nel complesso senza infamia e senza lode.

1. On arrival the reception was empty with no one in sight and no bell to ring. Waited 20 mins before someone showed up. 2. Once in room seemed nice and cozy. After taking a shower with very low pressure. Found that all the towels i had been given had brownish stains or make-up stains. 3. After falling asleep was woken up at 2 in the morning from someone on the phone below me. Tried closing my window but could still hear them like they were in the room.

Hôtel bien tenu. Personnel dévoué. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de commodités dans la chambre : des crochets supplémentaires et des tablettes pour les accessoires de toilettes seraient un atout dans la salle de bain. Le jet de douche est très faible. Des rideaux opaques seraient assurément un bon investissement pour notre confort. On entend le train. Beaucoup de commerces à proximité (à pieds!)

Images of rooms are accurate. They “look” nice. Mattress was very poor. Not comfortable. Bathroom was awful…toilet wouldnt flush properly as the handle kept hitting the cistern lid. Shower was tiny but there was also a constant drip which never stops. The drip is from plumbing not shower head so you cant stop it. Sliding door to bathroom so i could hear a constant drip throughout the night. No curtains in room. Daylight from 4:30am. The room was very cheap £53 and it included breakfast which was small but very nice. I travel alot and i left this choice of hotel to a friend. Whilst it wasnt awful, i was tired in the morning due to lack of sleep but for £53 (inc brkfst) what could I really expect?

Not what I had expected from the good rating on the website. When we arrived we were waiting for nearly 10 minutes with nobody at the front desk to check us in. Eventually I had to pop my head into the restaurant to get someone to check us in to our room. Not ideal when we had driven 4 hours to get there. We were also told the bar and restaurant had a fault and hot breakfast wouldn’t be served in the morning. Far from ideal to start with. The room itself was small, half the size of our bedroom at home. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the radiator had been left on so it was absolutely sweltering when we went in. I had been looking forward to a shower but this was the worst showering experience in my life. The water came out of the shower with nothing more than a dribble. It took me 15 minutes to get showered properly due to this and at 11pm at night, was a huge annoyance, especially after the bad news and inconvenience with check in. On our second night there must have been an event on as we could hear music blaring out until the early hours, as well as people shouting and screaming. Only convenience was the proximity to the train station, but I would advise anyone to save their money and go to a travelodge or premier inn - at least they have working showers and decent food / drink amenities.

On arrival we waited over 10 minutes at reception, eventually I went looking for staff, I found a member in the kitchen and she didn’t look happy at me asking if we could be booked un please, I had requested a double bed and was given an attic room with very little space or ventilation and it also was two single beds, as it was only an overnight stay we didn’t bother complaining, breakfast was a fry up some which was hot and some of it cold, not a nice experience but after all you only get what you pay for, price was really cheap and no wonder.
