弗吉尼亞索恩伯格希爾頓Tru酒店(Tru by Hilton Thornburg)

Canada, 3 au 4 janvier 2024, 2 personnes! Nous avons bien aimé en général, le seul point négatif, etait la propreté de la toilette et de la douche, mais pour le reste c'était parfait!

At check in we were told a desk light will be replaced, no problem. We go to our room, bed isn’t made, no towels, no hair dryer, dirty food in fridge, filthy floor, no TV. Called down to desk to let them know. Hungry, irritated and tired we left to go out to eat. Came back to a cleaned room but no TV no lamp or dryer. Staff was very nice and apologetic. Next morning at breakfast we were given back 1 nights stay and was told our tv would be fixed during breakfast and It was. Rest of day and night was fine. Still no lamp lol (we didn’t need it).

We paid for a king sized room on hotels to get to the hotel and they only had a double queen room. We were stuck with the wrong room no money back for the difference in price or apology.

The fire alarm had gone off for 6 hours on Wednesday cause fire hazard in laundry room. Our stay was Friday and it happened again when small fire started in the ventilation system because they had never taken care of the problem. Alarm went off for 5 hours during our stay and couldn’t even stand in our hotel or our room because so loud. Even when they tried to have fire department turn it off, and then they LEFT, while still going on non stop for two more hours

The computer system was down when we tried to check in, but we were not told this by the check in clerk. Another couple, also waiting a long time (30 minutes) told us this was the problem. We went to dinner, and return. After getting to our room, it was on a very noisy (Interstate) side of the hotel. It had also been smoked in.

The hotel had overbooked and had given away our PRE-PAID room. Once we got there at 11 at night after having driven for hours, we were stranded without a room. The young man working there was very kind and I could tell he felt badly. But, shame on you! Shame on Orbitz!! No one has responded for this. They left us in a very risky situation late at night. I will never again book at this hotel for fear of being left in a similar situation again.

The property is still pretty new which is great. Upon the initial check-in, it appeared to be pretty clean but it was later in the evening when we checked in. Our first morning is when I noticed that the top cover of the bed was dirty and had hair in it. It was almost as if someone tried to tuck it in a corner. We contacted the front desk and were told that they had 60 checkouts that day and they would try to get to it. As a customer who is still there, you would think that you would do more to please me. We didn’t ask for much. Due to the lack of action, I bought the cheapest blanket I could from a nearby store and removed the covers from the bed, just so we can be comfortable on our last night. I did approach the front desk after the call and still nothing. The desk manager advised that someone took pictures and left the room. But no one changed the bedding, which is what we asked. There were other minor things that shows that the employees aren’t taking the time to actually clean. There was Pink residue at the base of the shower door which had it been cleaned properly, it shouldn’t have been there. There were loose hairs amongst the floor which did not come from either of us being that it was a completely different hair type. The customer service could have been better and more should have been done to set things right. Overall, the property is nice and located right across from a nascar raceway. The breakfast is pretty decent as well.

Hotel is a stones throw from I-95, sounds like the trucks are right outside your room. My room had a super strong smell of perfume or cleaner or something. Hallways were dirty, all trash cans in common area were full, elevator was dirty. The electric car charger wasn't working. Room was pretty clean, staff were friendly but unable to help with any of the issues.
