The experience at the Holiday Inn on April 11th was the worst. As soon as we checked in and entered the room, it was as hot as if we had stepped into a sauna. The room temperature gauge showed 82 degrees, and despite our attempts to lower it, the room kept getting hotter, making it difficult to even breathe. Unable to bear it any longer, I called the front desk, only to be told that the heating system was broken and they couldn't adjust the room temperature. If the hotel's most important facility, the HVAC system, was broken, it is the duty of the front desk to inform guests upon check-in. However, nobody informed us of such, and the room was unbearably hot, making it impossible to stay. We spent the night with windows open, wearing t-shirts, unable to get any sleep. By morning, all three of us in the family had high fevers, swollen throats, and found it difficult to swallow.If such a critical HVAC system failure occurred in the hotel, they should have informed guests first upon check-in and asked whether they still wanted to proceed with their stay. I am very angry and disappointed, and I strongly desire to receive credit for this matter.

It was my first time at Holiday Inn. For some reason, the brand is not so strong with our family. The hotel is very clean and the room was large and really perfect for our family. The only thing that could be improved is the shower. It is very outdated. The receptionist was really nice. The breakfast wasn’t so good though. Will definitely try holiday inn again.

This hotel had NO A/C!!! The room was 80 degrees. I asked about it and they told me the either had heat or air and they turned the air off and now only had heat. I was told to open a window. The window opens about 4 inches. For the amount of money this place charged I would expect A/C at a minimum.

The hotel had no heat for 4 days and we weren’t notified. It was too cold in the room to stay. One would hope that for $306 you could at least have heat. We had to leave and find another place to stay I hope that Travelocity will honor their word and reimburse us in full. This was a terrible experience.

Very friendly and helpful. The 2 front desk ladies (Susantinna?) and her young colleague were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast lady (Roberta) did an excellent job and always made sure we were satisfied by regularly enquiring if everything was OK. If we ever visit Vermont again we will stay here.

Great customer service, soft beds and pillows, clean spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast. Great prices too!!

Convenient location. Good shopping and dining nearby, but need car to access these areas. Friendly staff and all the basic hotel amenities.

Great place, breakfasts while not 5 star are filling and tasty. Rooms are huge, clean, and updated. Only issue is the hot air/cold air only works for the respective season they are used for (ie. heat during winter and cold during summer). You can’t put the cold air on during the winter but you can open a window. Otherwise I truly enjoy staying here and seek out this chain when possible.
