旅屋酒店-沃森海濱(Travelodge Worthing Seafront)

Basic and no frills hotel in a prime location on Worthing seafront. I chose as it’s great value and the location could not be better. The place really could do with a refurb, that said, the staff are just fantastic. Such a warm welcome and everyone I encountered is so happy, helpful and engaging. So lovely, especially when travelling alone. Great budget stay and the people made all the difference.

No hot water. Building works are being undertaken and I would not have stayed if I knew before.

We did not have high hopes of the Travelodge because of a previous bad experience but we were so wrong. Both on arrival and on the phone the Reception Staff were so very helpful. As a Blue Badge holder we were reassured about the parking opposite being free with the badge. We were worried that I might not manage stairs. Of course we were assured that there was a lift and we were offered and accepted a very pleasant second floor room overlooking the promenade and seafront. A comfy bed and clean bathroom. There was a hospitality tray which we were able to replenish from the reception area. There is a perfectly adequate Restaurant and Bar which we used. Breakfast was absolutely fine with plenty to choose from. Mind you they should not state 100% Fruit Juice as it is not. Thank you for a good stay and we will return.

Lovely spacious single room and with a sea view. Bathroom space small, a larger person would not be comfortable using it, but fine for me. Stayed only one night on my way elsewhere and what a lovely and relaxing stay!! Very friendly and helpful staff on check-in and made to feel really welcome. This is clearly a very old building and the tram that work here do an amazing job of keeping it clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again when back in the area.

Well located hotel with clean bright rooms and right in the sea front within walking distance of the town centre and with many bars and restaurants within walking distance … as well as both facilities in house! All reception staff are helpful however Shasha is outstanding in the warmth of her welcome and helpfulness.

Desperately in need of a refurb. The room felt like a very run down halls of residence. I’d like to say, this hotel has seen better days, but I’m not sure it has. My room was in poor condition - the bedside light looked dangerous, the cold water in the bathroom was barely a trickle, the toilet was inches from the facing wall (tall guests would have to sit side saddle), and the window was dirty. I know, you get what you paid for, but it wasn’t even cheap. Only positive was the staff who were very friendly.

From the moment we checked-in till the the next morning when we left, we had a 10 out of 10 service from the Travelodge in Worthing. We were lucky to have gotten a room with a seafront view on the top floor, it was lovely to open the window and feel the sea breeze and just people watch. Everything was clean , its your usual Travelodge style room but absolutely comfortable , that fit all of our needs. A special mention to the sweet lady and her son at the Front desk reception - they have been so friendly , going out of their way to help out with our further travels to Portsmouth , giving us advice about local stuff to do and just keeping our spirits up , we left with a big smile on our face. Absolutely a gem of a team - Thank you!
