沃特利廳酒店(Wortley Hall Sheffield)

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. Staff were very professional and attentive. Small hiccup with our evening meal, but the manager Greg, rectified this. Bar staff Tom and Hannah, both deserve a medal! They were both amazing Our room was stunning, a junior suite in the attic, it could not have been more perfect. All in all, a very lovely stay, which we are keen to repeat soon.

The breakfast was superb and the staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money paid for our stay. Some of the carpets and decor in some areas needs updating but overall the quality of food and the staff at breakfast made our stay thank you

The hotel is very tired behind the scenes needs a spruce up , some floors are very uneven , trying to eat my cooked breakfast was a chore trying to eat with table and char rocking trying not to spill the drinks , the bedroom was very tired and the bathroom wastes were really smelly and the room smelt damp/musty .

Great hotel at the very reasonable rate. Great pubs near by.

Attentive staff, friendly. A large range of people here in a busy week. The trade unionist mindset is here and also newly wed couples bring family and convosation and the children are well behaved (even when being little 💩) Truly unique venue

Wortley Hall is a magnificent building with wonderfull grounds. The building and facilities are gradually being upgraded in line with the character of the building and once completed will be of a very high standard. Whilst the menu is limited, all the food is cooked to a very high standard. Finally all the staff are courteous and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel, but please bare in mind it is going through a refurbishment programme

My daughter purchased an afternoon tea with Prosecco - it was amazing !!!! The staff were so lovely and friendly, the building itself and grounds so quaint with fab views and the food was absolutely spot on!!!! It was an amazing treat and thank you so much xxxx

I picked Wortley Hall by chance, and I’m glad I found it. The hotel itself is a listed building with many original features and a fascinating collection of memorabilia from its long history as a non-profit. All of this gives it an original character compared to other hotels. The room was clean, comfortable, and I think recently decorated. The original shutters in the window were a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and keen to show off the building. I ate in the bar, where the menu had a good range including many vegetarian options. The grounds are large, and I recommend taking a walk.

We thought Wortley Hall was an excellent place to stay, and the history of the building very interesting, The staff were very efficient and friendly, food excellent, bed in Room 19 very comfortable. Everything was cleaner than average. The bedroom windows had the original shutters which are perfect for keeping heat in and light out. There isn't bling here; just a lovely old house. Some windows need a coat of paint but everything that matters is there. Carpets etc in very good condition. Some of the furniture is slightly mismatched but it just adds to the character. There is a huge library. Don't be put off by the strangely low rating on trip advisor. Beautiful surroundings and view; we would recommend it all. Good value.
