梧桐賓館(The Sycamore Guest House)

We stayed here at this B&B guesthouse for a few days and we picked a great place. It's a short walk through the park to city centre. Parking outside is available on request. The owners are really nice couple, very helpful and great cooks!( Spiros &Elizabeth). Breakfast was excellent, loads to eat and very filling. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We would book here again.

Came to stay for 3 nights, the first time for about 7 years, and it was just as nice as I remembered. Had a lovely welcome from the owners, Elizabeth and Spiro, who are really friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and breakfast was great. It's in a good location, about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre. Hopefully I'll be back again.

We have returned to this B and B numerous times. Beautiful old house, furnished to be in keeping with its age. Spotlessly clean & lovely bedding. Breakfast tasty and plentiful. Elizabeth and Spiro are perfect hosts, welcoming, friendly and will do anything to make your stay perfect, can’t wait to be back again

Its a lovely old Building with a parking space costing £2 a day and just a 10 minute walk into York Minster and the old town including the Shambles BUT the interior need upgrading. Very hospitable couple running the B&B although having to take your shoes off to enter the dining room is a first for me. The breakfast is ok but needs to be cooked fresh rather than clearly pre cooked as the bacon becomes very tough. We stayed in room number 2 and it needs a lot of work. Mould in the shower and on the bathroom ceiling. Shower is on its last legs. Decor needs upgrading and ceiling replastered. A pleasant stay but the interior needs modernising and renovating.

Family trip and stay York beautiful but guest house very poor Accommodation requires update and thorough clean as insects evident in bed and on pillows . Landlady apologies but visit spoilt due to poor experience of guest house.

The room was at the top of the house the en-suite was terrible too small 🙈🙈

Very nice place to stay.Amazing breakfast and friendly hosts oh and the kingsize bed was a bonus too. Would recommend the Sycamore for a stay to explore York

Very clean, huge welcome and very fairly priced. We would definitely return what an amazing B&B. Thank you 👍. We were provided maps to get around York helped with our cases. A lovely and homely feeling upon walking in. Super in all aspects Thank you!
