法官旅舍(Judge's Lodging)

This is NOT a hotel for anyone who has a car. It is impossible to access the Hotel at any time as it is in a pedestrian controlled area. It is NOT a hotel for anyone one who has mobility problems. 39 steps to a congested bedroom( designated “character” ) at additional.cost is unacceptable. The room was gloomy &/cluttered with huge furniture and proved to be without any central heating for the first night of our stay. It was the coldest night of 2024.🍾 The staff were sympathetic and eventually found a single electric heater at 9.30 p.m. by which time we had already retired! Sadly an experience NOT to be repeated. An apology & a substantial refund is the very least I would expect.

我們住在靠近室外露台的房間。房間設計現代，床非常舒適，淋浴很漂亮，我們對住宿感到非常滿意。接待員很可愛，很友好，等待和酒吧的工作人員也是如此。我們會毫不猶豫地再次預訂那裡，我們強烈推薦，而且酒店位於非常中心的位置。可愛的熟食早餐。

酒店工作人員都非常細心、有禮貌、熱情。我不知道是不是因為飯店工作人員創造的良好氛圍，我們遇到的其他飯店客人似乎也都很有禮貌和放鬆。大樓的外部和內部以及我們住的房間都非常乾淨漂亮。我喜歡這些家具。我們抵達時，飯店工作人員貼心地為我伴侶的生日準備了蛋糕和生日卡片。非常感人。房間裡的按摩浴缸是一個額外的獎勵。 Judges Lodgings讓我們再次回到約克，就是為了住這家旅館！

If you want to stay in an historic building that has been restored to an amazing level in the heart of the city, with good food, good drinks and super rooms, the Judges lodgings most definitely worked for us. The parking is a a 10 minute walk away and not cheap, but hey joint is York.

I only needed a one night stay to extend a trip. This inn fit the bill perfectly. Located in the historic centre it was very convenient and had a very good breakfast in the morning. It also has a lot of historic charm. My room wasn’t very spacious (standard double) but perfect for a solo stay.

This was a lovely hotel in a fantastic location! We were staying here for a wedding, so it was so great to have an iron, ironing board and hairdryer provided in the room. The room was small but great. Though it did get quite warm, there was a fan provided. Just a shame the bins outside were near the window as staff using these woke us in the morning. The kitchen also needs to toast the muffins for the eggs benedict, not just get the lines on the grill but keep them soft.

Went years ago room was great, went back and stayed in courtyard rooms last year - huge mistake and vowed never again. Gave another shot this week and stayed in the main hotel - great room, some road noise with early deliveries, great bath/shower, great breakfast and great staff (all of them) You need to park at least a mile away though on public long stay car parks

Our experience over the two days,as it always is,was excellent.The staff were professional and friendly.Our room on the terrace was very comfortable.The position of the hotel could not be better,right in the middle of the city centre.
