法官旅舍(Judge's Lodging)

The historic feel of the room was most important to us, and the accommodation features are current and good. Our only issue was the slightly higher temperature of the room. This may explain why there are two table fans in the room which can be easily placed. But, the staff, the food, the cleanliness and convenient location make Judges Lodging an exceptional stay.

We were in the rooms near the outdoor terrace. The rooms are modern design very comfy bed,lovely shower we were very happy with our stay. The receptionist was lovely and friendly as were the waiting and bar staff. We wouldnt hesitate to book there again we would highly recommend and the hotel is in a very central location. Lovely cooked breakfast.

Hotel staff were all very attentive, polite and welcoming. I don’t know if it is because of the nice atmosphere the hotel staff created, other hotel guests we came across seem to be all polite and relaxed, too. The exterior and interior of the building and the room we stayed were very clean and beautiful. I love the furniture. Hotel staff kindly arranged a cake for my partner’s birthday with a birthday card upon our arrival. It was very touching. Jacuzzi bath tub in the room was a bonus. Judges Lodgings made us come back to York again, just to stay this hotel !

If you want to stay in an historic building that has been restored to an amazing level in the heart of the city, with good food, good drinks and super rooms, the Judges lodgings most definitely worked for us. The parking is a a 10 minute walk away and not cheap, but hey joint is York.

I only needed a one night stay to extend a trip. This inn fit the bill perfectly. Located in the historic centre it was very convenient and had a very good breakfast in the morning. It also has a lot of historic charm. My room wasn’t very spacious (standard double) but perfect for a solo stay.

This was a lovely hotel in a fantastic location! We were staying here for a wedding, so it was so great to have an iron, ironing board and hairdryer provided in the room. The room was small but great. Though it did get quite warm, there was a fan provided. Just a shame the bins outside were near the window as staff using these woke us in the morning. The kitchen also needs to toast the muffins for the eggs benedict, not just get the lines on the grill but keep them soft.

Went years ago room was great, went back and stayed in courtyard rooms last year - huge mistake and vowed never again. Gave another shot this week and stayed in the main hotel - great room, some road noise with early deliveries, great bath/shower, great breakfast and great staff (all of them) You need to park at least a mile away though on public long stay car parks

Our experience over the two days,as it always is,was excellent.The staff were professional and friendly.Our room on the terrace was very comfortable.The position of the hotel could not be better,right in the middle of the city centre.
