索亞酒店(Hotel Soa)

The town near Durmitor does not have too many nice hotel options yet, but it is being heavily developed right now and is worth the visit. We stayed in the SOA Village villas. While these villas are very private, we personally did not enjoy our stay. We could not fully place exactly the things we did not like but we didn’t feel super comfortable. The rooms are extremely basic the bathrooms are really awkward and the showers are just kind of weird. There is a lot of fire wood burning smell that made all of our suitcase and clothing smell bad and we had to open all the windows to sleep. You must drive back to the main hotel for breakfast and/or other amenities if you need them. The breakfast was very mediocre compared to many other places we stayed in Montengero. The staff at the hotel and restaurant are extremely friendly. The food at the restaurant hotel is pretty great. Good service, unique and more modern dishes and great wine. The desserts were also good but maybe not as good as many of the reviews say. I’m sure it’s all very subjective. Overall we would personally not stay here again, there are probably better options in the area and if not there are many coming.

Bel hôtel situé un peu à l’écart du centre de Zabljak, néanmoins facilement accessible à pied. Le Lac noir (Crno Jezero) peut aussi tout à fait être attaqué directement depuis l’hôtel. Chambres simples et calmes. Si certaines chambres (suites) sont dotées d’un coin cuisine, il ne sert à rien : il n’y a pas de couverts, et seulement une cocotte décorative pour la cuisson. Le petit-déjeuner salé est excellent, celui sucré insipide.

Hotel is located at a very nice place within the National Park Durmitor, Žabljak Monte*****. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming hotel staff. The check-in process was swift and efficient. The hotel's location was ideal, nestled amidst the stunning natural beauty of Monte*****. The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes added a touch of tranquility to our stay. Rooms are small and without a/c. However, rooms were very clean and quite comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the culinary experience at the hotel's restaurant. In conclusion, it is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty.

We stayed only one night, but would have loved to stay longer except the hotel was full. Really good quality hotel, dinner, breakfast. Best breakfast we have eaten in Monte*****. Staff really helpful and friendly. Sauna and steam room a nice touch. Staff service excellent with tips for activities, nothing too much trouble. Really good value for both the room and dinner which was gorgeous. Cannot fault hotel Soa all, we loved it. Would highly recommend.

We verbleven enkel dagen in Zabjlak en gingen dineren in hotel Soa. De gerechten waren heerlijk bij een professionele bediening. De gerechten werd mooi gepresenteerd en de prijs/kwaliteit was zeer zeer goed. Aanrader !
