My and my family spent in this hotel already second vacation and I have to write that stuff is amazing. All of them are very very nice and nothing is problem for them. Always when we asked for something non-standard they always with smile provided it for us. This customer service should be taught to other hotels.

Everything was perfect! We were there on family trip. There were very nice staff. Lobby bar have a varied food and drink offer. Excelent food. Breakfast also offers gluten-free pastries and lactose-free milk. Wellness had a quiet zone when you can relax.

We came for two nights but wish we stayed longer. The reception staff were really nice, the dining area staff seemed a bit off. The room was excellent, very modern with amazing views of the mountains and the Alps at the back. We used the pool which was nice but didn't use anything else. Breakfast was very good with 5 or so different juices to choose from, eggs, sausages, vegetables and fruit, cold cuts and really good coffee which a real barista made. The dinner was amazing on Thursday night, prawn curry was beautiful, so were other dishes. It wasn't this good on Friday night when it was much more busy also. If I come again Id definitely choose the week, definitely not the weekend when the hotel was full and despite being a complete smoking ban some women smoked on the balconies which was horrible. Apart from this we loved it all.

Spent 2 nights in November for the quick wellness weekend. Beautiful location, plenty of hiking possibilities nearby. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms very clean, beds comfy. We opted for half board ( breakfast tasty, dinners could be better) Swimming pool,jacuzzi and sauna are extremely small for such a hotel. With 6 people inside, it was already packed. Its a family hotel, so 80 % of guests are young families with small kids, thus it can get noisy. Highlight was certainly the superb drinks in the lobby served by the Robotcat and 2 lovely alpacas outside.

Absolutely astonishing food. Very friendly and warm staff. We enjoyed every little moment of our stay. The rooms are modern and clean, beds and incrustation very comfortable. Spa facilities include nice and clean pool, jacuzzi, steam chamber, sauna. We did not try Fitnes club neither Kids club. Generally it’s worth to come.

This hotel is very well located, in the middle of Sumava with breathtaking views of Velky Javor (Grosser Arber). Professional and very nice, friendly staff, The food on buffet in the morning and in the evening is tasty and wide range of choices for kids, vegetarians as well as for those who like meat and Czech cuisine. We liked the coffee service in the morning (made by the barista, not of standard coffee machine, but perfect espresso). Cosy and comfortable rooms, clean, modern equipment. Very good Wi-Fi. We liked the robot serving drinks and food in the lobby bar, very innovative :)

We stayed at the wonderful Horizont last week and were lucky enough to spend New Years Eve there and join there Gala Evening which was absolutely first class (more of that later). The hotel is located in the beautiful Sumova region and is surrounded by amazing views of both Czech Republic and Germany with many Ski resorts scattered around. Check in was effortless and fast (we had to show our vaccination certificates). The receptionist (Daniella) was really professional and efficient but really friendly too which is a quality you seldom see in luxury hotels. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated with a pull out bed made for our daughter and a very modern bathroom with quality fittings and a rain shower. We opted for the hotel buffet dinner every day and were very impressed by the range of items and the freshness of the food (chefs were constantly refreshing the buffet). Drinks were waiter served (Jakub) and he could not have been more friendly and attentive. Breakfasts were just as good but with the added Coffee Barista who prepared perfect coffees to order (Flat white was amazing). The New Years Eve Gala was fantastic with a live band and DJ plus a non stop buffet of wonderful food including a Sushi Bar and Steak Tartar (and unlimited wines). All in all we had a wonderful holiday with impeccable service. Thank you Horizont.

Great hotel with excellent facilities for both adults & children. We stayed with half board and there was always superb selection of food to choose from. The hotel itself is the only building in the area so it's very quiet. Loved the proximity of ski lift & ski slope a minute from the hotel. Will definitely come again!
