Good location if you need walking distance from Moskovsky railway station.
The theater starts with a coat rack, and the hotel - with a reception. The first thing you will meet is a rude, unsmiling, unfriendly receptionist: it feels like you owed him, and our presence became a burden (not a smile, not politeness - complete disgust for this).
Room: comfortable room, good equipment (clean bed, good towels, slippers, kitchen equipment, washing machine, stove, refrigerator, iron, hanger, ironing board), - everything is clean and convenient, comfortable for a short stay.
Breakfasts: they are there, but not varied (for three breakfasts - the menu was unchanged); breakfasts are implemented on the basis of a Georgian restaurant - you come, say the room number, get 2 dishes to choose from + a drink. You can eat, tasty, but monotonous.
Room cleaning: no improvement was done; a lot of garbage in a couple of days; towels were not changed; towels were dried on a built-in electric dryer.
For business trips/visits to the city for a couple of days it will do. I recommend it, but with the flaws described above
Hotel Rooms are nice. I stayed in the one with around 24 - 26 SqM while my friends stayed in the 40-SqM one. All rooms are quite enough.
The Receptionists are helpful and provided assistances when needed.
Meanwhie ,there arec certain improvements shall be made,
1. we cannot amend the temperature of the Air Conditioner as it is central controlled.
2. the housekeeper did not refill 2 sets of towel and slippers when she realized I was staying on my own
3. the Hotel does not provide more Washing Powders when the so-called complimentary is used. However, the rate of the room is same no matters how many night(s) we book and pay for. So everything shall be there and refilled day by day.
Very nice, clean apartment, everything you need in the room, and the reception staff are friendly. The hotel is conveniently located, easy to get to attractions, and the city center is nearby. We'll come back and recommend it to our friends.
As of October 10, 2025, booking a room on an Android phone didn't indicate a per-person fee (iOS does). This meant we had to pay for our children, even without breakfast (3,500 rupees for a 6-year-old and 7,000 rupees for a 9-year-old). We've already reported this to Ctrip (Figure 1 shows the receipt). We agree to the hotel's policy, but the fact that it wasn't clearly stated during booking and they asked for extra money on the spot was a poor experience. This is different from Chinese customs, so everyone should be aware.
Aside from that, the hotel's amenities and location, as well as the nearby convenience stores and restaurants, are quite convenient. Figure 23 shows the hotel entrance and exterior. The Winter Palace and Kazan Cathedral are a short walk away. Don't miss the Duma Tower observation deck on the right side of the street from Kazan Cathedral, which opens at 3:00 AM and 5:00 PM for panoramic views of the entire city. Figures 4-7 were taken there.
It's quite close to Moscow Train Station, about 1 km away, in a quiet alley. There's a bus stop at the door, but it's quite far from the subway. There are many coffee shops, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, so life is quite convenient. The front desk speaks English, so communication is easy. However, the facilities are indeed quite old.
If I go to St. Petersburg again, I will still choose this hotel. The transportation is very convenient. The airport comes out to be 39 and sells tickets. Speaking of metro, he will remind you, open the Baidu map and take a few subway stops. It is in an apartment building. Except for the building, there is no elevator. The waiters are very enthusiastic, the room is not big and complete, clean, the key is very warm feeling, the design is good, the soundproofing is also quite good, in the city center, suitable for couples to travel!
We were passing through St. Petersburg and needed to find a good hotel quickly. We&I was a great choice! We booked quickly, and the staff was very polite and helped us with the paperwork and check-in. The hotel itself is a pleasant place to be, with a spacious lobby, breakfast area, and pop-art paintings. The room was very clean and cozy, with everything we needed. We slept wonderfully, with a comfortable bed and mattress—we didn't even want to leave! The hotel also has a calendar of events and a vibrant community. It's a great place to stay for longer. I highly recommend it!
The hotel is in a good location. It takes seven or eight minutes to walk to the Winter Palace and the General Staff. The Bishop's Church in Kazan is five minutes away. The MAAG shopping mall is just across the road. Opposite the hotel is the Alexandro Theatre. On weekdays, you can see the actors smoking outside. The expensive candy store is a ten-minute walk. Dostoyevsky Museum is 2 kilometers away. There are restaurants and bars around the hotel. There is 24-hour hot water in the tea room on the third floor of the hotel.

VVictoriaHotel’s location is excellent - it’s right next to the Leningradskiy Railway Station and effectively in the very city centre. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all necessities are provided. The historical building where the hotel is situated also adds to its charm.
There was a small mishap with the room extension for one more day (as we were leaving very late and did not want to have to check out at 12), but it was quickly resolved.
Will definitely stay there on my future trips to St Petersburg.

GGuest UserPerfect youth travel continued to live three times, almost persuaded by the previous comment area, the front desk English is good, the service is warm
IIrina KoshkinaWe stayed with my 6-year-old son at the hotel for the second time for two nights on the weekend. We booked at this hotel again because of the undeniable amenities:
1. Location. It's a 10-minute walk to the Moscow railway station, you can easily get there at any time, it's super. The center, there's a sea of different public transport around, it's easy to get to the right place.
2. Very nice guys at the reception, they try to be as accommodating as possible, they always manage to check in early, which is very good after the early Sapsan.
3. The cafe where breakfast is, you can use it at any time, have tea/coffee and relax between festivities and museums.
4. The rooms have everything you need, the rooms are not small, spacious, warm, clean.
5. The breakfast buffet is varied, not everything is tasty, you can't find everything if you come half an hour before closing, but overall it's good.
We'll definitely stay again next time.

AAnonymous UserThere was no hot water for my shower. I wasn't sure if it was time-limited, and I couldn't inquire because the front desk was unattended and no one answered the phone. The room itself was clean. However, the walls had terrible soundproofing, and conversations from the neighboring room severely disturbed my sleep.
IIlya74Overall, not bad, but:
1. Soundproofing of the risers is terrible (we stayed in room 320). This means that at any time of the day or night you can hear your neighbors upstairs flushing the toilet and/or taking a shower. As for me, this is a flaw in the renovation (saving on soundproofing)
2. We didn't find out right away that the breakfast included scrambled eggs, and not from the staff at breakfast, but from another guest who ordered it and it was prepared for him. There is no information about this, it is not written anywhere.
Otherwise, everything is fine, friendly staff, comfortable mattresses, new plumbing.
But the above-mentioned shortcomings, especially the first one, are unlikely to prompt us to stay here again.
ООксана БессоноваBooked the hotel for 3 nights in the summer, the purpose of the trip is to just walk around the city. The hotel is magnificent! Very convenient location - the metro stations Vladimir and Dostoevskaya in 2 minutes walk. Also in 2-3 minutes - Rubinstein Street with all its diversity of drinking and gastronomic institutions, supermarket Spar and shopping center. To the Nevsky Avenue, you can reach 10 minutes.
The hotel itself is located on the 4th floor of the old building. The windows go to the Grand Moscow Street. The front room is clean, quiet. On the registration hall are very friendly and polite staff. The hotel is also clean, cleaning rooms is daily. There is a coat, slippers, towels, shampoo, shower gel and soap. Also in the room is air conditioner (silent, working), refrigerator, TV, fan. In the hall there is a cooler, you can type drinking water.
I booked an improved double room with a bathroom - a very large room, a comfortable bed. In the bathroom is perfect, just sterile cleanliness!
I liked the hotel very much, I definitely recommend and myself with pleasure to come.
