Chuxiong Yi New Year Event Schedule Announced

In 2025, the Chuxiong Yi New Year holiday will be from December 20th (Saturday) to December 23rd (Tuesday), totaling 4 days off. The Yi New Year, called "Kushi" in the Yi language, originates from the Yi lunar calendar in October and is the most grand traditional festival of the Yi people, with a lively atmosphere comparable to the Spring Festival. During the festival, the ancient Yi town will host a variety of colorful activities: the deep and melodious sound of the mountain horn, the fragrant aroma of gate-blocking wine, graceful and captivating Yi dances, and Yi families welcoming visitors with the highest hospitality.
