Taking 14-month-old Cancan into this dawn redwood forest, the yellow-green gradient leaves look like a spilled paint palette, so beautiful you want to settle down right there～ As soon as we entered the park, we were wrapped in the lively atmosphere at the entrance! Grandpa selling candied hawthorns had his sugar coating shining bright, Auntie’s spring roll stall was steaming hot, Cancan’s big round eyes crisply called out “Grandpa” and “Grandma,” his little short legs chasing after older kids, and his giggles could be heard clearly in the crowd～ Climbing up to the lake, we rested on the steps and watched the small boats. Walking around the lake for a short while, we reached the dawn redwood forest. The dawn redwood leaves were half tender yellow and half light green, sunlight filtering through the branches creating dappled light. Cancan tugged his dad, picking up twigs and digging in the soil looking for “treasures,” then squatted down to play with fallen leaves with unfamiliar kids. His little basket quickly filled with leaves of all colors🍂 He could hold the railing to climb the steps without being held, and grandpas and grandmas passing by all praised, “Such a good kid.” Hearing this, the little guy got even more excited, running around with his hat tilted～ Watching him frolic in the forest, I suddenly felt that nature is the best early education class! It’s ten thousand times more vivid than picture books and also unlocks social skills.
