On our third day in Chengdu, Meiling and I visited Dujiangyan - Taofen Bookstore

Our third day in Chengdu was planned for Dujiangyan, and the first stop was the 'Taofen Bookstore' located next to the ticket office. The bookstore's facade is not very large, but the interior is quite spacious, with a variety of books, as well as a beverage and snack area. The bookstore is filled with a unique aroma of books, and every corner is warm and comfortable. We chose a seat by the window, where Meiling picked an iced drink🥤 and a row of panda-shaped🐼 desserts, while I opted for an iced Americano, wanting to read and enjoy the view at the same time, feeling that my eyes were not enough. After enjoying a lovely forty minutes in the bookstore, we had to leave reluctantly, as the Dujiangyan irrigation project scenic area was still waiting for us.
