Guide National Geopark, Qinghai's stunning fairyland

Come to Guide, Qinghai to see the "Earth Palette"! This hidden Danxia wonder in Hainan Prefecture is breathtaking, and every snapshot looks like wallpaper-worthy scenery! The first stop must be the Ashigong Colorful Peak Cluster Scenic Area, located along the Xijiu Highway (just search the scenic area name on your GPS to get there). Seeing it in person, you realize how spectacular the Danxia landform described in geography textbooks really is! The layers of red rock show different shades under the sunlight, and against the blue sky and white clouds, it looks like a fairy has spilled a palette of colors. Tips: 1. The best time for photos is 9-11 AM or 3-5 PM when the sunlight hits the rock layers at an angle, making the textures most visible. 2. Remember to buy your tickets in advance on Trip.com to save 10 yuan (original price 80 yuan). 3. Be sure to wear non-slip hiking shoes! Some viewing platforms require climbing slopes, and the red sandstone surface can be slippery. 4. Bring plenty of drinking water and sun protection gear; the UV rays at high altitude are really strong—I got sunburned after just half a day.
