The Virgin Pub – A Hidden Gem Tucked Behind Quán Thánh

#christmasmarket The Virgin Pub feels like a secret jewel quietly hiding behind Quán Thánh Street. Though it’s just one floor, the space is surprisingly spacious, warm, and beautifully classic. Soft sofas, high ceilings, and a wide, inviting bar instantly create a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. There’s even a cute projector playing films, adding a romantic, slightly nostalgic mood to the room. I tried two cocktails—Solane and Pop My Cherry—both perfectly matched my taste. Beyond cocktails, the pub also carries a fascinating selection of whiskeys. Experiencing their smoky–woody–bacon–char layers gave me a whole new appreciation for whiskey and left me even more impressed by the bar’s craftsmanship. This is absolutely a place I highly recommend. The Virgin also offers a great happy hour: 159k for selected drinks or a 650k set (2 drinks + cold cuts) for couples. The entrance is unique—you need to walk through the café at number 86 to reach the pub hidden behind it. But trust me, the moment you step inside, you’ll realize it’s completely worth the search.
