【Kumamoto｜Suizenji Jojuen Night Event】

When traveling, it's always good to check if there are any limited-time events happening locally. The 'LUX NIGHT' event at Suizenji Jojuen allows visitors to enjoy the garden at night, which usually closes at 5 PM. The event is themed around the life of 'Hosokawa Garasha,' the wife of the second generation of the Hosokawa clan, Hosokawa Tadaoki. Each area features storyboards with both Japanese and English descriptions. Additionally, you can scan a QR code to listen to the audio version of the story while exploring. The garden is adorned with bamboo decorations, complemented by lights and music to create scenes from the story. Nighttime visits to the Izumi Shrine and Inari Shrine are also quite special.
