I have finally arrived at the Longmen Grottoes

Luoyang Longmen Grottoes, one of China's four great grottoes. Since 493 AD, when Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty moved the capital to Luoyang and selected Yique (now Longmen) to carve the Guyang Cave, the Longmen Grottoes began with this cave. It reached its peak of Buddhist glory during the prosperous Tang Dynasty under Empress Wu Zetian!! The Fengxian Temple's Vairocana Buddha is said to be modeled after Empress Wu Zetian (supported by inscriptions) and is praised as the "Mona Lisa of the East." From the moment you enter Longmen, every step reveals a scene, every scene tells a story, every story holds history. The flowing Yi River beside you, the constant 26-degree Yuwang Pool, and every cave and Buddha statue all narrate the stories of the past to us who come from all directions! To you who come to Longmen, please slow down, pause for a moment, close your eyes, listen to the Buddha's Zen sound, feel the Buddha's Zen meaning, and receive the Buddha's radiant light.
