Two Days and One Night Trip from Wuhan: Tianzhu Mountain West Entrance and South Exit Guide

Wuhan to Anhui, a two-day one-night Tianzhu Mountain trip with cable car ascent from the west and hiking descent from the south gate. Considering the early morning sea of clouds, arriving at the scenic area early allows more time to visit every spot, fewer crowds, no queues, and better energy. So we chose to arrive at Qianshan Station the night before and start hiking early the next morning. Cable car up and walk down, total time about 6 hours. The trip cost about 💰650 per person. Wear non-slip shoes for hiking; the descent has some steep sections. 2. Buy scenic area tickets in advance; with a high-speed rail ticket within 7 days, you get half price (most of the cost is the shuttle bus 🚌 + cable car). 3. The visitor service center offers luggage storage. You can store your luggage there before hiking for a lighter trip. 4. We chose to hike down to not miss any spots and because we had enough time. If your schedule is tight, be mindful of the time so you don’t miss the last shuttle bus back to the high-speed rail station, which leaves at 5 PM ⚠️. Finally, Tianzhu Mountain is stunning, with all kinds of beautiful and strange rocks. Although I haven’t been to Huangshan (couldn’t get tickets), I can roughly imagine its beauty in my mind. Compared to Huangshan, the crowd size here offers a better experience. This trip was definitely worth it!
