Two consecutive years at Jiuhua Mountain, please keep this detailed guide

Jiuhua Mountain is a very magical sacred place. Every visit brings me peace and comfort. Perhaps it's the magnetic field, but the first time I came, it made me feel joyful in body and mind. I strongly recommend everyone to visit Jiuhua Mountain ⛰️⛰️⛰️ The Dayuan Cultural Park parking lot at the foot of Jiuhua Mountain, navigate directly to Parking Lot No. 3, parking fee 💰10/day. You can see the 99-meter tall Buddha up close, worth a visit. No entrance fee, just make an on-site reservation to enter. There is a sightseeing bus inside 💰30/person round trip. After getting off, you need to climb a long flight of stairs to reach the foot of the 99-meter Buddha. On the right side of the stairs, there is a small door where you can climb five floors to directly touch the Buddha’s feet. Remember to touch the Buddha’s feet clockwise, silently reciting your wishes in your heart. 🦱🦱🦱 Jiuhua Mountain is one of the Four Sacred Mountains of Chinese Buddhism and the site of Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva. It is divided into the Front Mountain (Jiuhua Street) Scenic Area, Tiantai Scenic Area, and Back Mountain (Huatai) Scenic Area. 👉 Huatai is for sightseeing, Tiantai is for worship!! 👉 Huatai does not require a ticket, but you need to take a cable car to get up. Huatai one-way 💰85, round trip 💰160 👉 Tiantai requires a ticket. Tiantai ticket 💰160 in peak season, 140 in off-season. There is usually traffic control; private cars are not allowed to go up. Remember to bring the physical ID. 1️⃣ Baishou Palace: You can choose to take the ground cable car up the mountain to visit the "Manifested Bodhisattva," the true body of the flawless monk from the Ming Dynasty, to pray for family longevity and peace. 2️⃣ Qiyuan Temple: Pray for academic success, blessings, and smoothness in all matters. 3️⃣ Huacheng Temple: The founding temple of Jiuhua Mountain, pray for smoothness, disaster avoidance, and refuge. Outside the hall is a pigeon square, a good spot for photos. 4️⃣ Flesh Body Treasure Hall: Houses the true body of Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva, the most sacred place on Jiuhua Mountain. From the foot of the mountain to the treasure hall, you need to climb an uphill flight of stairs. Upon arrival, walk clockwise around the main hall three times, silently reciting the Bodhisattva’s holy name. At the right side of the main hall entrance is a yin-yang well, said to allow one to see past and present lives. Then descend from the back of the Flesh Body Treasure Hall, which is the south gate. Pay attention to the 81 steps, walk straight without looking back, and finish this flight of stairs. 5️⃣ Small Tiantai: Pray for wealth and safety. Jiuhua Street is good for leisurely strolling and buying small souvenirs. Many shops have small Dizang Bodhisattva pendants recommended for purchase, cost-effective. Others can be chosen according to your needs. 📒📒 Warm tips: --- Enter all temples from the left side, exit from the right side, left foot first then right foot. --- Free incense is available outside all main halls. --- After lighting incense, do not blow it out with your mouth; let it extinguish naturally or gently fan it with your hands. --- Hold the incense with both hands raised to your forehead, bow clockwise to the four directions, and when kneeling inside the hall, put your hands together, silently recite your wish, then with palms up, bow three times.
