Solo Adventure in Tianjin: 2 Days 1 Night Budget Travel Guide

🏨Accommodation: I chose to stay near Xiaobailou, which is very convenient for getting around anywhere. Bicycle🚲: I used a combination of bicycle🚴‍♀️ and subway🚇 throughout the trip, which was very convenient. There are bicycles everywhere, and I purchased a three-day bicycle card, costing a total of 7.9 yuan. 🎫Attraction Tickets: You can buy a combined ticket for Zhang Xueliang’s Former Residence and the Porcelain House on Taobao, costing a total of 98 yuan, and it can be purchased on the same day. 🍲Food: I really couldn’t get used to the food, so I won’t share much. The only thing I thought was okay was Haihe milk🐮. Detailed itinerary🚴: Day 1 1⃣️First stop was Zhang Xueliang’s Former Residence🏠. Since I was alone and it happened to be a school-organized trip day, there were many people, so it wasn’t very suitable for taking photos📷. There is a free guided tour inside, which was quite nice to listen to. 2⃣️Second stop was straight to the Porcelain House🏡. Honestly, the beautiful pictures online can be taken right outside the entrance without buying a ticket. I can only say, since I was there, I went in. The Porcelain House’s bright colors are indeed great for photos📷, but because there were too many people, I didn’t get many good shots. 3⃣️Third stop was Xikai Church⛪️, which is really, really photogenic, ladies👭. I was alone using a phone tripod to shoot🎬. The key is to have sunshine🌞 for the best shots. 4⃣️Fourth stop was the Five Great Avenues Tourist Area🌲. Although it was Tuesday, there were still many people and many photographers on site producing photos. Because of my limited photography skills, I only took pictures of the scenery, not myself❤️. The small alleys in the Five Great Avenues are more fun and need to be explored slowly🚶‍♀️. 5⃣️Fifth stop, since it was still early, I went ahead to the Liberation Bridge & Century Clock⏰, which I had originally planned for the next day. I arrived in the late afternoon near sunset and felt like I captured some of the best photos of my life😎. The time was exactly 4:30 PM. You must shoot facing the sun🌞 for great photos📷. Day 2 1⃣️First stop in the morning was the Northwest Corner🥞. There were many people, and all the recommended shops had lines, so I suggest going early. 2⃣️Second stop was the Ancient Culture Street Tourist Area🚗. Honestly, it felt like nothing special, just like an ordinary commercial street. 3⃣️Third stop was the Italian Style Area🌳. Since I couldn’t find a bicycle🚴‍♀️, I walked a bit and happened to be at Lion Forest Bridge🤸‍♀️. There is a gray church⛪️ there that looks nice and is also great for photos📷. Personally, I didn’t find much to see in the Italian Style Area. 4⃣️Fourth stop was Tai’an Road Fifth Courtyard🏠. Ladies, this place is also very photogenic📷, definitely worth rushing to🉐️😺. Important Reminders🔔: 1⃣️I walked more than 16,000 steps each day for two days, so ladies👭, be sure to wear comfortable shoes🥿, or you really won’t be able to handle it. 2⃣️For photos, it’s recommended to wear light-colored clothes👗 for better shots. 3⃣️Don’t choose winter; it’s too cold and inconvenient for biking🚴‍♀️. 4⃣️If you go alone, be sure to bring a selfie stick🤳.
