Do you have a kid who loves visiting ancient towns? A two-day, one-night trip to Wuzhen with your child was amazing! This time, we chose a place right next to Xizha, super convenient for exploring the scenic area and finding great food. Here's a super practical guide 📝 🏡𝐃𝐚𝐲 1. Relaxing at the B&B + Xizha Night Tour The accommodation is just a few minutes' walk from the South Gate of Xizha, so you don't have to rush around with a kid – a leisurely stroll to the scenic area is so convenient! There's a swimming pool in the courtyard, perfect for taking photos 📸. The weather was perfect, and my daughter was running and jumping around in her little sweater – every shot was a picture-perfect scene of Jiangnan charm. The room was thoughtfully decorated. The bed was super soft 🛏️, and there was even a small bathtub for a relaxing soak 🛁. There was also a small bookshelf and cute decorations hidden in the corner, where my child could stay quietly for hours. 🌉𝐃𝐚𝐲 2. A leisurely stroll through Xizha, complete with delicious food! During the day, we walked along the cobblestone streets and admired the flowing water and bridges. The charm of this Jiangnan water town was truly hidden in every step. At night, watching the hand-rowed boats created a wonderful atmosphere! The boatmen rowed slowly, the lanterns casting shimmering shadows on the water, and my child watched intently the whole time. The shops lining the cobblestone streets held many surprises. A leisurely stroll allowed us to experience the charm of the water town without tiring the kids. We also tried the local specialties, Dingsheng cake and braised duck. The sweet and soft cake and the savory duck were both to our liking. My daughter was happy every day of the trip. No rushing around meant the adults could relax too. The slow pace of Jiangnan is perfect for experiencing with kids!
