I've already figured out Xiamen!

Having studied at a university in Xiamen for two years, I've put together this guide from my perspective of the city. 👉 Three days and two nights is the ideal duration in my opinion! D1: Bajishi Market → Nanputuo Temple → Xiamen University (reservation required) → Gulangyu Island D2: Zhonggu Cableway → Shapowei → Huandao Road D3: Jimei School Village → Shigu Road → Dragon Boat Pool → Ten-Mile Long Embankment Tips: 1. For Gulangyu Island, I recommend buying the combined ticket directly! (Students get a better discount) You can catch a stunning sunset 🌇 at Sunlight Rock, which is P5 on the map. 2. I personally think the Zhonggu Cableway is definitely worth it! It’s a romantic ride extending out towards the sea 🏵 3. The general route along Huandao Road is: Baicheng Beach → Hulishan Fortress (just view from outside) → Zengcuoan (you can quickly pass through the fishing bridge without entering the main street) → Music Square → Huangcuo Beach. You can rent a bike and enjoy the sea breeze while riding, very comfortable. 4. Shigu Road is also a favorite spot for university students, with lots of delicious food options, perfect for lunch! Food recommendations: On the island: Bajishi Ajie Five-Spice (a must-try when visiting Bajishi Market) Yousheng Flavor Snacks (satay noodles with meatballs and squid), also near Bajishi Market, but the environment isn’t great, so choose carefully if you care about ambiance. Danxiang Bakery Tangyan · Old Xiamen Private Kitchen (Zhongshan Road branch) (we mainly went for the taro crispy duck, which tastes pretty good) Shiheli Ginger Duck Off the island: Dashe Banyan Tree Satay Noodles (next door there’s a place selling Manjian cakes that some friends love! I’m not a big fan of cakes, but it’s worth a try!)
