People on a journey, Wenzhou Yongjia Taogong Cave A natural rock cave, known as the "Twelfth Blessed Land under Heaven" in Taoism [spinning], with thriving incense offerings and crowds of tourists. Taogong Cave has a long history. During the Ganlu period of the Later Han Dynasty two thousand years ago, the Taoist priest Fu Yin Yao once lived here in seclusion. In the Three Kingdoms period, Taoist Wang Xuanzhen practiced cultivation here. During the Southern Qi and Liang Dynasties, Taoist thinker Tao Hongjing, known as the "Prime Minister in the Mountains," lived here and wrote the book "Zhen Gao." The temple inside the cave was first built in the seventh year of the Xiantong era of Emperor Yizong of the Tang Dynasty. Every day, over ten thousand visitors come, and the atmosphere is lively [jumping]. Covered in incense ash from head to toe, I escaped the surging crowd and went to the market [grinning].
