Furongzhen - Magical Waterfall Village

Getting There - go to the bus terminal in Zhangjiajie. buy the ticket and wait for the next available bus. It costs around ¥30 and takes around 2 hours. Wear your seatbelt - it’s a bumpy ride. Sitting in the bus is a beautiful way to observe rural farms and natural China mountain scenery. Attractions - you are required to buy the ticket to enter the scenic town. There’s a waterfall you can walk under, you can ride the boat, you can find a restaurant with a beautiful view. There’s even an outdoor cinema. Choose the things you like. You can do everything in one or two days. Hotels - the hotels inside the tourist area are more expensive. If you don’t mind walking for 10-15 minutes you can get a pretty cheap room on the main road before entering the water villiage. If you prefer luxury - try to find the hotel with the good view. There is good availability and many places to choose from. Food & Restaurants - many restaurants here serve delicious Hunan dishes. Try to find the place to eat where you can see the waterfall and enjoy fresh fish from the river. Delicious! Shopping - there are lots of little shops to buy souvenirs, cold drinks or ice cream.
