It opens at 8am and there’s already a queue
forming before. The bakes are perfect especially when it’s fresh and warm so worth the queue for sure. To reach there, might require a short distance walk from the Metro. The other downside is that this is not a cafe so no seats for you to enjoy it there. If you’re in Copenhagen, this place is worth a visit for a breakfast grab. I definitely enjoyed mine! #mustvisit #foodie #

Discovering Denmark: A Cultural and Scenic Journey – Copenhagen
Stop: The Royal Playhouse and The Old Stage
The Royal Playhouse and The Old Stage are two of Copenhagen’s most iconic venues for the performing arts, representing both the modern and historic faces of Danish theater. Together, they form part of the Royal Danish Theatre, a cornerstone of the country’s cultural life.
The Royal Playhouse, completed in 2008, is a striking contemporary building on the waterfront, designed with sleek lines and expansive glass façades that reflect the harbor. Inside, state-of-the-art performance halls host drama, dance, and experimental productions, making it a hub for modern creativity. Its location along the promenade also provides stunning views and a lively atmosphere before and after performances.
In contrast, The Old Stage, dating back to the 18th century, embodies tradition and grandeur. Its ornate interiors, gilded balconies, and red velvet seating create a timeless setting for opera, ballet, and classical performances. It remains a symbol of Copenhagen’s historic dedication to the arts.
For travelers discovering Denmark, visiting The Royal Playhouse and The Old Stage offers a journey through past and present, showcasing how Denmark continues to honor its cultural heritage while embracing new artistic horizons.
