Hyde Park is a street park in Sydney. Between the two main roads, there are no fences and free access. No tickets are required for botanical gardens or street parks in Australia. It is open to the public free of charge. Hyde Park is also the starting point for hiking around the famous scenic spots in Sydney. To the north, the New States Art Museum of the Botanical Garden, Mrs. Macaulay's chair, Governor's Palace and the Royal Botanical Garden are in turn. On the opposite side of the road is St. Mary's Cathedral. It is free to enter or walk north for about 20 minutes to Sydney Opera House and Rocky Ring Pier.
